JANE a liar with proof
yup she's a liar.... The whole quarrel plot of going to howes hardware or going to wellington between kenny and jane was due to their travel time .... jane says " it will take a week or so to reach wellington but if we turned back we would reach Howes within a day" ..... i played both the cases ..... initially i choosed to go with kenny and apparently killed Jane .... it took 9 days to reach wellington ... then i played with jane and killed kenny it took the same 9 days to reach Howes .... This proves the fact

With the car -.-
Also i am sure that snow make longer the travel
This.
To be fair, while the group had some idea that Wellington was nearby, they didn't know the exact location. They did know where Howe's was. So Jane was correct that Howe's could be reached faster. Whether Howe's would be safe, was another matter, though.
I'm not sure why it took them so long to reach Howe's. I'd have to replay the last part to remember.
"Bootstrap Bill, you're a liar, and you will spend an eternity on this ship!"
Umm, sorry, wrong quote.
still ....9 days to reach Howe?
They didn´t have a car.
There were several vehicles where the fight happened. They could have taken one of them?
yeah... they didnt go in car for wellington ..both wellington or Howes was travelled on foot
Well, they didn`t. So the other cars didn´t have the keys, and Kenny and Jane don´t know how to hot-wire a car.
Well of course she is a liar. She manipulated Kenny and Clem into thinking that AJ has died. Even after Kenny calls her a fucking baby killer, she still sticks to her lie.
The reference Lilly: " Do we need any more evidence than this ?"
Yeah I also noticed that. It took them nearly 2 days to walk from the spot where the shooting took place to Arvo's house (they probably stopped to rest more than they should have because of Luke), and the shootout spot was close to Parker's run which did not even take a full day to get to from Howe's. Assuming nothing slows Jane or Clem down drastically, how far did Kenny drive that it would take a week to get back?
PLEASE NOT AGAIN
I've seen a lot of gifs with this guy. Who is he?
He's called JonTron, he's really popular on YouTube.
Oh boy
She is a liar. Kenny is crazy.
Sooo......
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nkuxVZ0qPE
There you fucking go ;-)
I greatly prefer Kenny's kind of crazy to "i know whats best for everybody and I'm going to manipulate you for your own good" kind.
Preach.
"i know whats best for everybody" is exactly his mentality.
"and I'm going to manipulate you for your own good" yes, he doesn't manipulate. He just doesn't listen to a single thing you have to say, no matter how much sense it makes, and no matter how many times you try to explain it to him.
Don't forget no one in the game ever says Wellington is actually in Michigan. Kenny says, "It's a big camp up near Michigan."
Funny I just wrote about this elsewhere. Copy paste:
Let me break out some math here to estimate how long it could take Clem/Kenny to find Wellington. To keep things simple (we'll have to use somewhat crude assumptions), let's say that Wellington was in Michigan. Just the state of Michigan is about 250,494 square kilometers or about 96,716 square miles. Google says the average hiking speed is about 6 kilometers/hour at the fastest or about 3.7 miles/hour. Assuming Clem/Kenny could see 5 km or 3.1 miles (the curve of the Earth's surface) in either direction to spot Wellington while walking, they'd cover about (5km/direction * 2 directions of North and South * 6 km/hr) = 60 square km/hr at the fastest, or 23.2 sq miles/hr. Soo, assuming they could walk about 12 hours a day, it'd take them about (250,494 sq km * 1 hr/60 sq km) = 4174.9 hrs to search all of Michigan at the fastest, or (4174.9 hrs * 1 day/12 hrs * 1 week/7 days) = 49 weeks!!! to search all of Michigan for Wellington at the fastest. That's almost one year. And that's just one state--just the state of Michigan. There's also Ohio, Wisconsin, and Indiana (and even Canada!) that share borders with Michigan. Keep in mind that the timing would be similar if they had to go all around the border of Michigan, looking through these states and Canada, rather than going through the state of Michigan. And I didn't even include the time it would take them to run into things like snow, walkers, people, rivers, etc.
Finding Wellington in 9 days doesn't make a lick of sense if you don't know where it is. Compare that to Howe's. They knew exactly where Howe's was, and could've gotten there in a day if they had a car, or 9 days directly walking there. Jane was being absolutely appropriately logical about her choice here, in terms of knowledge of the location of the best place to go.
BTW if I did the math wrong, feel free to correct me.
I'm coming out of retirement.
Here we go again pointing fingers at the characters we love to hate, at least i can admit that Kenny is a bit crazy (which everyone rightfully would be in a ZA) and all you can say about Jane is that she is a liar (a single point) while going on rant about Kenny on multiple points, because ohhh he is so awful for getting crazy over a manipulative bitch who takes away the only life line you got in this world right? Who in their right mind would believe that Jane's situation with AJ was really an "accident" given the history of Jane's past about leaving people behind without a second hesitation? Kenny's act to kill her might not be justified but his rage sure hell was.
Kenny knew exactly what kind of person Jane was as shown in the pic above, so excuse him for getting on a fucking beast mode, since you're so rational and a know it all i guess you would've greeted Jane with a bucket of flowers for what she did.
OP isn't so bright is he...
Did you not notice the snow? The baby? None of these things?
I can say a lot about Jane. I have in many threads. Her being a liar was the only topic I addressed because it was the only topic brought forth. (Look at the original comment. 1 for 1, right?)
Well, I wouldn't stick around to see the gasping, gurgling death of a person I cared for either.
No.
Don't shoot the messenger. He was told it was an accident, and he assumes it was murder. Awful for getting worked up about it? No.
Accidents happen all the time. Amplified immensely when you add flesh eating zombies to the equation.
No, and no.
Being rational is a fantastic thing, but I'm sadly not a know it all.
"for what she did." Are you referring to her indirectly telling Kenny the baby had accidentally died? I would have greeted her with immense sadness, not flowers.
EDIT: Something that didn't come to mind earlier, but has since sprang up... you said "given the history of Jane's past about leaving people behind without a second hesitation?".... Are you saying Kenny is innocent of this?
Thanks for doing the math. That's interesting knowledge.
Wait, when did you retire?
Probably 3 weeks ago. And no I didn't mean in real life if that's what you were thinking.
Gr8 b8 m8 i r8 8/8
I don't care.
Does anyone?
Kenny and Clem reached a unknown city in my opinion
we know they arrived at a place "called wellington" by a lot of people.
The girl never said it was Wellington.
With the car it would be a day, they had to walk.
Nope; I've yet to see an Old Age Pensioner's Play-through of The Walking Dead. :P
Dun. Dun. Dunnnnnnnn.
S3 is warring city's... again.
There's this thing called the Almighty Megathread of Justice, maybe you've heard of it?
That'd surely be a better place for this, since we've seemed to start a war already.
Not knowing who JonTron is
Guys, I know how to solve all of this.
Writers. Writers wrote it would take 9 days to reach Wellington, and writers wrote that it took 9 days to make it back to Howes.
Guys, this game is chalk full of plot holes, and completely unrealistic stuff and thangs. That being said, I still love this game. And I still love Kenny, and Clem, and Lee, and Luke. Heck, I love almost all the characters. So lets just love the characters and enjoy their rich stories.
I doubt its Wellington.
No problem!
Lee: It's not like math, Clem. Sometimes there isn't a right answer.
Me: But...I love math.
Haha. Seriously though, not implying one ending's better than the other here.
