If Nate was to appear again, would you want him in the group or as an antagonist?

Comments

  • Why not both? Nate could initially return as an antagonistic character, then gradually evolve into a member of the group as the story develops.

  • In the group as a debatable antagonist :3

  • I want him to return alone in his stupid truck, and not as an antagonist.

  • No one knows what it's like

    To be the bad man

    To be the sad man

    Beyond blue eyes.

  • Either would be interesting and funny and maybe a little disturbing.

  • I would love for him to be an antagonist. Maybe in the beginning he joins the group but gradually things start to get messy as it's realized he's not so much of a good guy as he first appeared and shit hits the fan really bad. That or Nate could walk the line in-between where he's not quite one or the other in being a good guy or bad, bad, but still unpredictable.

Regardless, I'd kill to see that dude come back. I miss his dark humor T_T

Neither. Nate is his own man on his own.

And, just to go full Carpenter, he's here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. But he's all out of bubblegum.

  • I don't get it. Why would you want to see or even PLAY with Nate.... It's like saying you want Carver to be the protagonist for season 3... WTF?

He'd be a very convincing antagonist.

I can't imagine anyone wanting him as a protagonist. He scared me, particularly the way he manipulated Russel into helping him rob and murder the elderly couple.

From what I understood, he tried to rob the elderly couple before, but the elderly man shot at him with the rifle from behind cover, so he couldn't get near the house. That's why he picks up Russel and brings him to the same place, so that the elderly man can shoot at them again. Russel doesn't know that the elderly man is trying to defend himself and his wife from a murderer and a thief. When that realization hit me, I was shocked and I hated Nate more than I hated even Carver or Jane.

As Russel, I expected him to murder me when I refused to join in the murder. He didn't, but that didn't make him any less of an evil man.

    To be hated

    To be fated

    To telling only lies.

  • BUT MY DREAMS They aren't always empty,

as my conscience seems to be,

    I have hours only lonely

My love is vengeance, that's never free

  • No one knows what it's like

    To feel these feelings

    Like I do

    And I blame you.

No one bites back as hard

    On their anger

None of my pain and woe

    Can show through.

  • I want Nate to be apart of the group and have him twist into an antagonist! Or the other way around :p I love Nates character either way.
