I shot Kenny because even though I was loyal to him, I just couldn't sit back and let him murder Jane or anyone else (unlike Carver, who completely deserved it.)
While I absolutely HATE Jane for what she did, I forgave her and went with her back to Howe's, because AJ would not have lasted very long without formula or food, and we had no idea where Wellington was or how far away it was.
He was the only reason why I forgave her. If AJ wasn't with me, I probably would have blown Jane's head off.
In Season 1, my Lee and Kenny were pals, even though I didn't have Lee agree with him on everything, the biggest thing being dropping Ben from through bell tower.
Yet when Clementine went missing, and I had Lee volunteer to search for her alone, Kenny refused to let Lee go by himself.
And, I had had Lee hide his bite from the group.
Kenny didn't realize Lee was bit, until they were at the hospital.
To me, between having Clementine or Mike get the radio to Luke, it made sense for Kenny to trust her over Mike.
Especially because he had seen Clementine in action before, like in the St John's meet locker for example.
Clementine was a very capable little girl, and she had proven her capability a dozen times over.
So Kenny it would make sense to entrust her with getting the radio to Luke.
Not to mention the fact, it was Luke's plan to use a radio in the first place.
And as far as beating Arvo.
I did not have Clementine steal from Arvo.
But when he and his gang tried to rob the group, my sympathy for Arvo went out the window.
I had Clementine support Kenny's treatment of him.
wait what when? If that's true I must've forgotten it.
In my playthrough of season 1 I supported Kenny a lot, because he shown some g… moreood points. I sided with him quite often but I believe I disagreed with him once or twice at the max.
I remembered when Lee asked for Kenny's help and Kenny was hesitating if he should help Lee finding Clementine. (disregard the fact that Lee supported Kenny TONS of time he still says: "I don't know Lee, would you do this for me if I were in this position?" it's not a 100% accurate quote but it's somewhere similair.)
I can't recall anything from Kenny where he saved Clementine's life, or protected her from severe harm. (please correct me if i'm wrong, like I said earlier I must've forgotten this)
By the way, if you think that Kenny took a beating for Clementine in season 2, well that's half true. (if that's even scientifically possible)
Here's a quote from my thread:

I agree that Kenny is / was still the same. That ruined it for me, I really didn't wanted to see him again like that. That has also been a r… moreeason for me to end it. (not be lethal action per se) He shouldn't be playing any longer in the walking dead. I mean. Come on.
He brought more trouble than good.
I must say that I hate the dialogue between Kenny and Clementine when you choose to decline the invitation to Wellington.
Kenny: "You're … moreas stubborn as a damn mule" - or something among those lines
Clementine: "Guess from who I got that." - I can't recall the exact lines.
Yeah, it's a biological fact that men have a more... "sturdy" structure, but it doesn't mean they can't fight back, in fact some of them could totally kick our ass, and yes I'm aware men have the physical advantage, but a woman can be just as deadly when in comes to fighting and handling a weapon.
So yeah, maybe a 1 on 1 fight would most likely lead to the man winning physically, but it doesn't really mean anything.
Nah I get it. I don't know your age or where you reside so I can't judge you harshly. It's not okay to attack people at all but considering the general body built discrepency it is almost unacceptable to attack a woman.
And to be honest, it would be almost impossible for Clem to run into so many corrupted communities, statistically speaking, it's most likely safe judging by the fact there is a big population there, as well as kids.
Good choice I must say. I'd also rather stay in a safe community than with Kenny and / or Jane.
but I'm still unsure about Wellington. we know nothing about it.
Well as much as I like to write a whole summary about Arvo, i'll keep it short and to the point this time. (because i don't have much time right now)
Arvo and the other Russians "knew" the area (according to Mike) so I assume they lived there for quite some time.
The winter just started. this is confirmed by Jane; "It isn't cold enough yet for the walkers to freeze" in reply to Clementine's amazed statement. (also pretty obvious; snow, temperature, time that got past by since season 2 episode 1. etc)
Knowing that the winter just started, the top layer of the lake used to be very thin or the lake wasn't frozen at all. (1-2 months)
Arvo had moments where you could be saying: "Hey, is he day dreaming / planning something?" or is he trying to manipulate the others / break the group apart.
highly doubt he planned for the ice to crack and kill everyone, it would have been too big of a risk and he may have ended up dying too, and it seems like he really wants to survive.
Who doesn't wants to survive? He might've thought that the ice was his only escape.
Arvo's behavior showed us that he obviously didn't wanted to stay in his current position. he had to improvise in order to break free.
At some moments in episode 5 where Arvo was "day dreaming" / acting stupid / etc he might've planned to go near the Lake. Maybe he knew about the walkers in the area. about that walker chilling near the rocks, and maybe. Maybe he though, "Hey, i'll take my chances. maybe they won't spot the walker, and they'll shoot it after. alerting the horde. giving me a chance to escape / the horde would distract the others." (not really a horde but yeah.)
and then later on he doesn't stop running because Kenny was chasing him.
makes no sense. First you run (for another reason) and then you don't stop because someone is chasing you (why would that change anything?). it's a invalid statement.
I'll also add that Kenny wanted to go across the ice too, it wasn't just Arvo.
He just stated that a straight line between two positions is the fastest way to travel. It's not like he agreed with Arvo to cross the lake. He even told Arvo to go first, because he didn't trust him.
And the ice cracks a little bit when Clem walks on it
The ice couldn't "carry" a lot of pressure / weight. (obviously.)
Furthermore, Arvo's group may have crossed the ice before, but they were only a group of 4. Clementine's group was larger so that probably added to the risk. (7 people including Arvo was crossing.)
Too much weight, would also support the theory of Arvo's plan.
He starts running as soon as he sees the walkers coming, it was most likely out of fear of them
Nah that's not it. The walkers already showed up before Luke fell through the ice. He started running after Luke fell.
There is more but I don't have more time. I'll come back to this later, just correct me if i'm wrong with something. Appreciate it.
In the translation I saw, Arvo says in Russian that the ice is strong and then repeats the same in English. I don't remember him saying anyt… morehing that made it obvious he was manipulating them. I was just trying to prevent Kenny from killing somebody
but if you think back about it, how she set you up to kill Kenny, then would you or would you not tell Jane to get lost in season 3 (if it was possible) and stay with the family, since they can take care for the baby. (if you decided that they are more trustworthy than Jane)
I didn't really pick Jane, I was just trying to prevent Kenny from killing somebody. But after Clementine found AJ, I decided to go with her because I didn't want Clem to be alone.
So Kenny it would make sense to entrust her with getting the radio to Luke. Not to mention the fact, it was Luke's plan to use a radio in the first place.
Yes, but Kenny did not realise the risk Clementine would've had if she carried that radio. The first part where Clementine went to get the walkie talkie's (still like to say forced though) was something quite diffrent than the situation where someone had to deliver the walkie talkie to Luke. and yes, trusting someone you know / knew for a long time does make sense. but still doesn't make it right to put Clementine at risk when it also could've been Mike or Kenny. Why do I sound so protective right now? well because I hate the whole plan where they decide to steal the walkie talkie's, and they're forcing Clementine to do it, where Clementine, puts most of her trust in Kenny so she would do it. so... shame on you Kenny, I wish you didn't do what you had to do. damn scripting
anyway... i'll come back another time. feel free to correct me.

(if you wan't to know about all those things that some people missed, they're all around on this thread.)
I stayed with Kenny. At least in my experience I never felt betrayed by him.
I think that's as simple of a version I can cook it down to, there's a lot of other emotions and actions behind it, but I think that's the deciding factor for me.
Yes, you're right, if only the weight could decide, she would fit almost as well as Clementine. It's actually interesting to imagine Sarah taking over Clem's "duties".
I chose to go with Kenny. I could tell that Jane was up to something so that's what happens when you fuck with Clementine's hat. And I stayed with Kenny because I wan't to prove to him that he's a good guy and I don't think that Wellington will work out.
With Kenny, I could tell Jane was trying to do something so that's what happens when you lie to the hat and I stayed with Kenny because I want to proove to him that he's a good guy and I don't think Wellington will work out...
Yes I know. but I disagree with Clementine's reaction to Kenny, not with Kenny's way. he's playing in character like always. But it felt like Clementine was way out of character at that moment. I don't know if it's just me. It's probably just me.

I'm saying everyone should keep their hands on each other. No one should be attacked. But generally speaking men shouldn't beat or attack women. If you are attacked by a woman, you could do everything possible to quell the situation without hitting. Whether this is attainable given the situation, the man has to decide. If under extreme conditions there is no other option, then you gotta go what you need to do to not to be killed. But all avenues should be taken to avoid having to attack and beat on women.
If you are a man who wants to hit women or looks for a loophole to beat on women, then your maturity has to be questioned.
The whole subject about men and women is Off-topic but i'll debate you on this;
Just to be clear:
Are you saying that all women are so… moremewhat "divine" and thus shouldn't be harmed at all?
Because if you'd talk scientifically about it, it would've been something like this:
"The male version of the humanoid is made of meat and water. It has organs, brains.. bla bla etc."
"The opposite sex, the female shouldn't be harmed because of its divine body structure. disregard of this individuals intentions, One shall not simply attack this sex."

Given the situation, Kenny attacked Jane first. In my opinion, he was wrong. So I shot at Kenny because he attacked Jane.
I know Jane is not Clem's child but I've seen how men who become angry so easily are dangerous men. And women who see it tend to either want to get away from said man without incident or (if she sees another female friend in that situation) drum up a situation to rid her of this man. I understood what Jane was doing after learning AJ was not dead, although I did think it was F'd up, I can't say her assessment of Kenny is totally wrong.
I honestly don't want to turn this to another Jane hate thread. This is my experience with my own family and other women I've known so that is how I analyzed the situation.

Example 2: forces Clementine to get the walkie talkies "it's you or no one, so you're nominated" while Sarah is sitting there, she surely doesn't weights a lot more than Clementine.
Just adding here that if you ask "do I have a choice?" when he says that he needs her help in order to break out, he'll flat out just say "no". It's both funny and irritating.
Oh hey luke's trapped under the ice. Hes dead. Fuck him
Which is why I'm so bitter that I had to comfort her afterwards? She gave up when he was still alive and trying to break through the ice. Why isn't she trying to comfort the eleven year old girl who not only almost froze to death trying to save her friend, but had to watch him die in every scenario presented to the player?
Okay, so the final choice was really hard for me because while I didn't want either of them looking after Clementine, I didn't want her to be alone either. It's just not safe for an 11 year old and a newborn. I'm not too fond of Kenny for many reasons (such as the ones listed above), but I still liked him a little more than I did Jane. I didn't agree with Jane's ultra-pragmatic view and how she triggered an emotionally/mentally unstable guy just to prove an already obvious point. So I went with Kenny, and then stayed in Wellington with AJ. That's the best option for my Clementine (and, in my opinion, story-telling wise). She gets her closure with Kenny, a man she's known since the beginning of the apocalypse. It gives Kenny some sort of peace and redemption, bringing his character arc full circle (he couldn't protect his family the way he wanted to in s1, so here he is giving one last sacrifice to protect an extension of this family). Plus, what were all the deaths for if she's just going to get to Wellington and be like, "lol never mind". That would make not only Luke's and the rest of the cabin group's deaths be in, but potentially Christa's. I think both Clementine and AJ have a better shot, realistically, at safety inside the walls of Wellington. Of course, this is excluding the fact that is a Telltale game and something will have to go wrong in order for Clementine's story to continue into s3.
My dream ending would include Luke and Nick. Clementine, AJ, Luke, and Nick eventually meeting up with Christa.
The walkers already showed up before Luke fell through the ice. He started running after Luke fell.
As soon as Jane mentions the walkers, Arvo looks behind and sees them, and starts walking faster, that's what makes me think he tried to run ahead out of fear of the walkers. Once the two walkers on the lake fall in, that's when Arvo begins really running. (But before this when he's just walking quickly Kenny will say 'stay with us' you can see Arvo not moving so that can call into question exactly how scared he was of the walkers.) It looks like the ice hasn't cracked under Luke at all yet,so by the time Luke fell, I'm pretty sure Kenny, Arvo, and Mike were already on land, he was running before Luke fell, not after.
Other than that, this post has made the argument towards Arvo actually planning to ditch them look more convincing to me, I guess. (The two differing interpretations between him being just a scared kid or a sneaky bastard who will do anything to escape Clementine's group interest me...I tend to lean more towards the first interpretation but sometimes I really wonder about that kid.)

Fair play bro, but I like Kenny for all his small mistakes. Lee and Clem made those too, even if Kenny makes them with a bit more self righteous conviction

One thing I can think of is from The Wolf Among Us. In Ep. 1 when you're in the bar with Woody, Gren and Holly. There's one option that goes like this {Glass Him} {I already know this story} {Did you kill Faith} I remember watching Uberhaxornova play it. He chose {Glass Him} thinking it meant pour him a drink. Freakin' hilarious.
Unless of course:
* A dialogue option didn't went as you expected (you've thought it to do something else / confusion)
* you've watche… mored gameplay from others and spoiled it for yourself (then you know exactly what choices to make aka cheating)
I shouldn't make a list of it. I believe it's all very obvious, everyone in this community is intelligent enough to understand, that's why I like to be on this forum
I decided to go with Jane so Kenny was broken and he couldn't make it anymore and also he was overreacted. At last, I'll stand on my own and I do my best to survive. I honestly don't want to turn this to another Jane hate thread. This is my experience with my own family and other women I've known so that is how I analyzed the situation.
I'll just put these words right .. here and we can all make something out of it. how does that sound?
Obvious stuff, Common sense, Ethical choices, Sane choices, Life, Creatures, Animals, Humanoids, Science, Religion, Culture, Education, Survival, Apocalpyse, Sanity
Feel free to add your words of choice to this list.
Again. no disrespect. and this might be my final respond, since this conversation ain't showing much potential.
Alright. I know why you shot Kenny, you already told us that in your first comment.
Kenny and Jane were both bad. They both had / have their errors.
If you absolutely disagree with this quote from AWESOMEO then I don't have much more to say else then
Keep learning.
I'm gonna drop the whole discussion about men & women now, I won't bring it up again.
Just adding here that if you ask "do I have a choice?" when he says that he needs her help in order to break out, he'll flat out just say "no". It's both funny and irritating.
"English Motherfucker!"
Fair play bro, but I like Kenny for all his small mistakes. Lee and Clem made those too, even if Kenny makes them with a bit more self righteous conviction
In the end you know where his heart is, that counts for more to me.
I like new profil picture :>
I decided to go with Jane so Kenny was broken and he couldn't make it anymore and also he was overreacted. At last, I'll stand on my own and I do my best to survive. For the time being, it's good to be with Jane cause she knows how to survive. She teaches me new things as well. At time she reminds of Lee. I missed ** Lee** in season 2.
I wouldn't have Jane leave, its better to stay in groups. And I forgave her for what she did, I don't like but sticking together is the best option.
Cool. No need to explore any further. But don't put up some shit about keep learning.
