  • I liked Tony's style more. Charlie's style is good, but it gives me headaches if I look for too long.

  • Yeah I really Tony's work on the walking dead. His stuff was so detailed, everyone looked different and his zombies were better.

  • Seems like it's out of print though, if it helps while I don't read the comics the art was definitely not the reason I didn't continue as I thought it was really good.

  • Well to be honest I only read the first volume and I thought that Shane was handled really poorly in the comic, I didn't like the first volume basically, since I had also stopped watching the show for different reasons I thought I probably wouldn't like the rest so I stopped before I got into it because it's really long and I don't want to invest in long comics unless I really like them, maybe it gets better, I probably will give it another chance because this was before I played the game and I really like the game, but I'm currently reading a lot of comics that I actually like a lot so it's pretty low on my "To read" list, since I haven't even caught up with the ones I really like.

    oh why'd you stop?

  • It's what I keep hearing, which is why I plan on giving it another chance but right now there are a lot more comics that I want to read more than Walking Dead and since I don't have enough money to buy them all I kinda have to stretch it, but you know there's also games I want to play and movies I want to see, so you know, takes time to get around to reading all I want to read, too many hobbies I think.

  • Tony Moore should have stayed the artist

  • oh yeah i get it. take your time.

  • i agree 100% but in the art world it doesn't matter how you are if matters how hard you work. not charlie adlard may not be the best artist but he draws fast and that's good for deadlines. tony moore is much much better but he draws slow and not that's very bad for deadlines.

Tony Moore should have stayed the artist

  • I know, it's just...Moore is so way better that I would have considered to keep him in the place of Kirkman. And just give the fans a issue every two months.

Moore's walkers all had a different personality and style.

Like, that's ten times better than Adlard. His all look the same if he doesn't draw close-ups.

  • yeah zombies aren't really charlie's thing. tony is also good at drawing people. all tony's people look different none of characters look the same. i also could tell what race they were. when charlie started drawing Glenn i didn't even know it was him. i thought it was a new character because he just looked like a white dude with a hat.
