'Safe to assume that your season two ending will be an important part of it'
Seems to end the debate over Clem's inclusion in season three
I wish they would answer my questions, like why change the story mid game, or why have like 4 different writers.
Season 1 had 3 writers.
Season 2 had 3 writers that never wrote anything before in their lives and 1 writer who didn't even work at Telltale.
3? I thought it was 4 or something.
My memory is quite fuzzy at the moment, who were those other 2 (aside from Nick Breckon)?

Not gonna lie, I would have like to have seen the abandoned zoo and tiger scenario play out!
Seriously though, the story had some tweaks in it because of the feedback they were getting. If they don't act on feedback, they might get some fans who are upset that telltale doesn't listen to it's fan base. When they do change it, some are inevitably pissed off that they changed it.
I don't think the amount of writers should make too much of a difference. Look at season 1. Starved for help was one of the strongest episodes of the season and that was the only episode that particular writer did for that season. Had no effect on the overall quality either.
3 + 1 = 4
Proper English please?
Episode 1 was written by Nick Breckon and Andrew Grant.
Episode 2 was written by Nick Breckon.
Episode 3 was written by Pierre Shorette.
Episode 4 was written by J. T. Petty and Eric Stirpe.
Episode 5 was written by Nick Breckon and Pierre Shorette.
That's five writers in my book.
I think the season might've taken a better turn had they actually went with their initial idea of playing as another guardian for Clementine, rather than shoehorning in a time-skip and dumping us in her position. The protagonist wouldn't feel too much like Lee if they were given a completely different personality and backstory, and there'd have been countless directions for them to steer the story in.
It was meant to be a hash-tag trend however the forum treated the hash as a h1 tag. I apologize for offending you so grossly.
Yes, maybe we could've played as a female since in season 1 Lee was Clem's father figure, she could've had a mother figure in season 2 or the character could've been like a big sister to Clem. That way it wouldn't have been repetitive and they could've explored different themes. Or maybe we could've played as Christa ?
Mary I think you may be onto something here season 1 a father figure then season 2 have a mother figure then season 3 we get somewhat this season but choosing between mother and father figure morals of how they both look at the ZA! This is something I can get behind.
this is interesting but i hope they don't kill of clementine i think in season 3 you should play as clem or aj but a few years later i think that would be good what do you think
WhereBeVanaman!??!
I couldn't agree more.
Wouldn't it be repetitive though? I appreciate that the relationship between a father figure and a mother figure is different, but it would be a similar dynamic with season 1, no matter what story you go with. Christa's personality has already been shaped the season before as well, so the story would be very constricted. She is very against the idea of groups of survivors. That's why it was the case that it was essentially her and Clem alone for 16 months prior to events in season 2. It would be so difficult to create a compelling story from it imo.
pls no 10 min different starting scene pls
Well... at least we can assume that Clementine probably will be in season 3. If Telltale said that season 2 endings are going to be an important part of season 3 then it's safe to say that we'll see Clem in the next season. It's almost certain. The next question - is she going to be a protagonist or not? I think we won't find out as soon as we'd want to
I would have really liked for them to have gone the "new protector" route and save the "play as Clem" thing for a later season.
They did a hell of a lot more than answer the question of what happened to Kenny. They based the whole season around him.
The claim that Sarah's behavior was due to PTSD from exposure to traumatic event seems to run counter to what Carlos's assertion "if she knew what it was really like out there, she would cease to function." But regardless, Sarah more or less confirmed for not being autistic, etc.
I would have liked some more specifics on how Jane's dialogue was crafted on player choices. Is it just her "your group sucks, get away from it" attitude?
They didn't treat her like an adult. They treated her like a work mule and Kenny's wrangler.
Interesting interview. Glad the interviewer had asked about Sarah.
ye it was a interesting interview i am glad they are working on s3 looking forward to it
IIRC she was originally going to be even worse, treating Clem like an annoyance or something.
