Who the heck is Bill I thought his name was Carver?
All this time they've said: Carver this Carver that. Now his name is Bill?
I completed season 2 and I still don't get it.

His full name is William Carver and his nickname is Bill. William "Bill" Carver.
it is clearly said multiple times throughout the game people either call him bill or carver i don't see how you can't understand that
Oh.
Well sorry I must have missed that.
Don't feel bad, as Kenny points out, EVERYONE called him Carver in the first two episodes, then come episode three they're suddenly on a first name basis with him. And they don't actually explain why they do this. Most likely reason is the writer's hadn't decided Carver's relationship with the cabin crew until episode three. Chances are in an earlier draft they didn't know him personally and was the distant dictator who they fled or something.
William Julius Carver jr.
In addition, the cabin group - the people who had literally escaped Carver because they hated him so much and were so paranoid about him that they were willing to kill a child - suddenly act complacent and chilled out about getting captured by him. They start sanctimoniously lecturing Kenny, the only person who acts reasonably stressed about being captured, in order to make him more sympathetic.
Really the whole transition between 2 and 3 is incredibly jarring. Carlos goes from spitting in Carver's face, screaming for someone to shoot him while half the group was being held captive (including his daughter), and asking Clem to try and unite his hands... too calmly telling Kenny about how despite intent, rash actions can have consequences, and this is in response to Kenny asking Clem to help get his hands untied, the exact same thing Carlos may have did just last episode.
Also, why is everyone's hands tied in front of them in episode three, when at the end of episode 2 they were all tied BEHIND their backs? Did they actually unite everyone, then retie them in a way that makes it easier for them to move and potentially fight back? Which is exactly what Kenny tries to do, and what Carlos probably would have done if they hadn't tied his hands behind.
And what's out of line and what's not also seems to change from scene to scene. Carver will hit Clementine for saying anything remotely combative, or even just looking at him, but doesn't hit Sarah when she tells him to stop. Then later, he wants Sarah slapped for talking out of line, but not Clementine if she talks back in Sarah's defense. So, what, talking back is a paddling, talking back in defense of someone else talking back is a free action though? Kenny also tries to escape in first few minutes, refuses to work, and starts a fight with Mike in his first 24 hours, nothing. He fesses up to the radio and get's beaten nearly to death. What that like his 3rd strike or something? I think even the Joker would be confused by how arbitrarily Carver doles out punishment.
To be charitable, you can say that Carver's attempted murder of Kenny (destroying a valuable piece of equipment in the process) is a culmination of all of Kenny's acts of defiance. But there doesn't seem to be any real reaction to the Obligatory Zombie Moment, other than Troy being a dick like usual.
We all make mistakes bro, no need to be a snob about it.
"Bill? This whole time it Carver, Carver, Carver. Now he's fucking Bill?!"
If you want to go with his whole name it's William "Bill" Carver, from what I got. So yeah, it's the same guy.
