Worth buying Season 1 again?

Hello,

Please try to be as spoiler free as possible:

I own season 1 for the 360 but would like to transition to season 2. I am assuming there is not a way to transfer those saves cross generations. Is it worth buying season 1 again, or is the impact on the minimal side? Are the choices auto generated randomly at the start of each play through if you don't have a save file?

    For me, I'd buy Season One all over again.

    And yes your choices will be randomly generated if you didn't play previous episodes and season one.

    Your choices have very minimal impact in my experience. Mostly limited to forced call backs Clem can make on rare occasions. That said, Season 1 is so great I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

    1. There is no way to transfer save files across generations as far as I know.

    2. The impact is minimal.

    3. The choices are randomly generated if there is no save file for Season 1.

    ---> Buy again, because Season 1 is so awesome.

    dude. season 2 full is coming out on 360 as well you know. just buy that one, its 5 dollars cheaper and you can convert save files.
    problem solved.

    He might not want to play s3 on 360, and instead of repurchasing both seasons on next gen when s3 gets closer, he can just repurchase one of the seasons now.

    Yeah, because otherwise your choices will be randomly picked and it kinda ruins the story since you didn't choose them.

    You can play it without Season 1 but You might here a little different ways people say lines, like when Clem talks to a character about lee

    I own 3 copies of S1 across various platforms. I wouldn't hesitate to buy on another if it benefitted me. That said season one has extremely low presence in S2. Only a few random remarks. Most of which would go unnoticed if you weren't on the look out for them.

    I got mine on steam sale for like 6 bucks. I personally feel it is worth playing on a lag free console than a laggy console.

    Thanks everyone. Ya, i would play it on the 360 but i do not know how long my console will last. It was an amazing experience, so i will have to pick it up again.
