I was discouraged, but I played S2.

This game is not a make your own story or character game, it's a character focused game. What you're saying makes the game sound incredibly lazy.

  • That's like how ISIS interprets their holy book into killing people.

"The game is tailored by how you play" It is, the way I understand this statement, we make our own story with our personal choices.

  • On the liked part I only agree with you on one thing, credits songs.

Other than that I agree with some dislikes, however, anything else I disagree.

  • for me, it just served to highlight it because nothing mattered except those last couple of moments and they seemed forced and rushed.

I feel like this desicion (my own, at least) was based on relationships that connected you with Jane or Kenny. Was it rushed, yes, it was, but that makes it more real. The situation can change in shit in a matter of seconds.

When you say the circumstances of Nick's death do you mean his death in episode 2 or 4? Because I really felt like his death was poorly done in episode 4.

  • So what ending did ya get on your first play-through hmmm... please do tell? Were you satisfied with it?

  • I ended up with Jane, although I don't like her at all (same goes with Kenny), but I suspected that going alone equals death sentence for both Clementine and the baby. I don't want to rewind my ending, if that's what you mean by "being satisfied".

  • Really well-written Bill Carver

    Oh yes.

  • Yeah, you have to tell Walter that Nick's a good man and he'll save him from the walker. By the way, did Alvin survive episode 2 for you?

  • Multiple Endings- Yeah, even if they're only based on one choice in the last episode, the other choices don't matter in the slightest compared to the decision Clem could make with Lee in S1, and they most likely won't matter once S3 starts.

Story- To be honest, the story is almost identical to S1, except not as well-written.

I don't really see how Bill is more interesting than the antagonists from S1, but whatever.

The 400 days characters don't have any presence at all, they have no impact on episode 3 and are merely forgettable cameos.

Nick's death and character was wasted to hell, but considering your stance on S1, I'm not surprised.

  • Still rushed and underwhelming. not going to defend it because it's "real."

  • If you dislike both Kenny and Jane, do the alone ending at Wellington. Even if you hate Kenny, you won't see him, Clem is alone with AJ, and she's safe at Wellington instead of on the road.

I prefer Season Two as well, I thought that the multiple endings added more variety.

I also agree about Kenny, after he returned (which I wished he didn't), the majority of the season seemed to revolve around him and his constant complaining, and his other flaws. I'd rather they have brought back Lilly (who I love), and killed her in episode three/four, then have brought back Kenny.

I loved how they brought back the 400 Days characters back and am quite glad they had short appearances.

I completely agree with you on the credits music.

Finally, I wish they had used Sarah for more then a plot device for Jane leaving the group, ONLY for her to return in the beginning in the next episode. Basically, the ENTIRE reason Sarah died regardless in 'Amid The Ruins' was (I presume) to be a factor in Jane leaving the group. If that was the intention, Jane shouldn't have come back at all to give Sarah's death meaning. Because she came back, that means Sarah's death was for NOTHING...

Other than that, I really thought that Season Two was an exciting experience!

  • Personnaly , i didn't liked how they've writed kenny in s2 , but im still glad to have saw him again

  • I agree with this, except for

Multiple Endings; progressive attempt to overcome "the illusion of choice". - It was cool to have multiple endings, but if Clem will be in Season 3. She'll determinantly be in four different areas. Telltale will say 'fuck ur ending' and have Clem maybe in that area for the first five minutes then she'll get split up and be on her own again.

Plot Twists - Eh some of the plot twists were just plan predictable and just stupid.

400 Days Characters having a presence - For 5 seconds? Okay then.

Really well-written Jane, Bonnie and Bill Carver - I thought Carver was written well in Episode 2, but written badly in Episode 3. He was showing to be cold, calculating and charismatic in Episode 2 but then in Episode 3 he just seemed like some ruthless, vengeful and violent nutjob. Jane was pretty well written, but I still hate her guts.

can i join on the group? i like clem as S2 protagonist, because no one in the world have courage to put a kid as a protagonist in a world like this. i know clem did much more things than a kid probably have to do in a ZA, but, still. i think if it really happens in real word, Kids will have to do a lot off shit to survive, Not everything, but shooting someone bad to protect her and her group, for sure.

Did I see larger amount of realism (which is, for me, the most important part in all fictional creations)?

    In "all?"

I love me some realism, and I "do" notice when it isn't there, however I don't always want it, not in every game. In "this" series I want it, but in... say... Marvel vs Capcom no I don't want it.

By the by, check out Project Zomboid if you want some ZA hyper realism. It gets boring once your survival skills as a player are up to par, but it's still one of the most fun "realistic" zombie games I've ever played.

  • I liked both seasons but I think I liked 2 more than one I also liked how we got to play as clem also make the choices for her as if she is now deciding on these choices whether she stays sweet and innocent or if she looses that or who she hangs with or if she ends up by herself with Aj and also the choices in between whether you let her drink or smoke or both I like how you got to control her outcome on what she becomes and what she does

  • if you let nick survive ( in s2 ep2 ) , he doesn't really talk alot anymore and isn't really useful
