What if Kenny had drowned instead of Luke?

  • I feel as if Luke's death was rushed, I had no time to feel sad about it at the time :(

I wish Luke stuck around, it would make for a better storyline. If Kenny died yes the truck wouldn't work but they could always head back to Howes or the village by the river. Arvo probably wouldn't of shot Clem and Jane might not of been such a psycho bitch. It would of worked, its without a doubt that Luke held that group together. I miss Luke.

  • If the events remained the same and it was Luke VS Jane; we probably would've had Luke's Machete Versus Jane's Knife.

  • He just needs to die. If he ever makes an appearance in season 3 I will riot. Shitbird.

  • I think the last scene would happen the same way, except it would be Bonnie and Jane trying to kill each other over Luke.

    Unless they decided to share... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • I do agree with you that beating him was wrong (even though he caused a lot of shit) but in no way was Luke's a mistake.
He told Clem he was going to make sure the place was safe, he HIMSELF made the choice to think about himself. It goes against everything he said about caring about the group. Im sorry but no matter how much you like Luke, but actions like that show you he cares only for himself, it's just lucky that none of the other members of the group got killed in the process.

The difference is that Luke made a mistake, Kenny beat the kid multiple times and (determinant) knocks out Arvo.

  • I hope he doesn't die.

Everybody in this game dies eventually. That's just the way it is. But the world is so shitty in the apocalypse I figure, "Hey at least they don't have to deal with it anymore" and that helps. (* Sobs over Luke, Sarah, and Nick forever anyway *)

No, what if Kenny drowned in E5, everything before that still happened.

  • I don't see how you can make that assumption from his mistake. If anything its Jane's fault.

  • Hmm...Well Bonnie, and Mike would fight for Arvos release. Jane may disagree, with Luke being on the fence and Clementines opinion counting in. But they wouldn't leave. In fact I think Arvo would join them, and Clementine may have the opportunity to explain to him, his sister was a zombie.

Besides that, everyone would most likely go south and through Howe's. Since we'd have the car and food, it'd be much quicker and we wouldn't see the family. We'd probably then go to Texas and Season 3 would begin.

  • They were driving for much longer than an hour. If it wasnt fixed the group would just be stuck at that house with no where to go

Clem and whoever she was with at the end are able to walk to their next destination with seemingly nary a problem. Hell, in the Jane scenario, she walks in the opposite direction they were driving, meaning that they would have made it to Howe's in less time had it not been for Kenny repairing the truck. Not to mention the fact that with Kenny gone, Mike, Bonnie, and Arvo wouldn't have felt the need to leave and so they would still have had two full bags of supplies for the trip.

Well the car wouldn't be able to function as Kenny wouldn't have been able to fix it by then. Unless Arvo, Mike, Bonnie, Luke or Jane have some kind of hidden experience with cars, they would just walk, so it could be possible to run into the family, especially if they hole up in Howe's for a bit.

  • He'd have gotten lucky. Real lucky.

  • I mean, when you think about it, a truck is basically a 19th century post-impressionist fresco.

  • You've got a point but Clementine seemed to think that Arvo disliked her because she killed his sister regardless.

There might have been a chance to explain to Arvo that Clementine shot his sister when she had already turned into a walker, and in the prev

  • That's like saying someone cheats on their partner, and you only blame the person they cheated on with.
It's both Luke and Jane's fault. He had a choose to say no, but he didn't. And look at how cosy he is when Clementine sees him and Jane. Didn't look like he was caring about the group did he?

I don't see how you can make that assumption from his mistake. If anything its Jane's fault.

What on Earth happened to the Kenny fans on this forum?

A few months ago this kind of thread would have been blown up.

  • Did Luke make a mistake? Sure. But saying Luke only cares for himself is a bit much. Everyone in TWD has made mistakes before. Some more than others, but still. He had a moment of weakness and fucked up. Happens to the best of us.

  • Jane is manipulative...For all we know her "offer" was her putting her hand in his pants.

He made a mistake, he cares for the group, just had clouded judgment for a while.

That's a shame. Not utterly unpredictable, I mean Kenny's time in the light has run to its end I suppose.

A shame to see some of them go, however.

I say 'some' in the most affectionate way possible, of course.

I hope Christa returns like Kenny has a new boy friend and that she got lucky, real lucky.(Both ways)

  • Well, if for some reason the fight still happens I would've gotten the alone ending instead of the leaving with Kenny ending. I never liked Luke.

  • i think the group wouldn't fall apart, since Bonnie and Mike left mostly cause of Kenny, also the fact that the group falls apart after Luke's death shows that he was very important for the group
