Sad details about The Walking Dead
Yep this thread exists so that you can dump all the extremely sad, bitter and cruel details about The Walking Dead here. So with that in mind, it'd probably be best if you don't stick around too long to not be completely emotionally devastated. Now I'll start things off.

Lee was planned to die from the start

Only 3 characters are considered alive. Everyone else in the game, whether they are of unknown or determinant status, could be dead, if you chose the alone ending.
We don't know if Chet was able to make it to hot dish night

Chet probably went home to find his entire family dead. A walker probably came out and attacked, Chet probably fought it off to only see he was bit. He then probably lied down next to his mom's dead body, blaming himself for being late, the proceeded to kill himself.
Apparently Clementine shot Lee multiple times. I saw someone say this earlier, can someone confirm? If so, that's fucking heartbreaking.
Kenny, if saved, will die in Season 3. So, in advance, R.I.P. to the boat god.

Everyone has lost a loved one, that either destroys them or makes them stronger... but it doesn't matter because in the end they die anyway.
She only has the option to shoot him once in the jewellery store, it's a clean shot to the head so i don't think she would need to shoot him more than once.
That is NOT how it went down.
Chet is actually the savior of the apocalypse, he discovered that his mother's hot dish actually cures any infection instantly and can restore walkers to human form. Telltale confirmed it as DLC i swaer

I think it means Clementine was so angry at herself and so distressed she simply kept pulling the trigger over and over again.

I don't think Clementine is the type of person to waste ammo like that.
Everyone in the cabin group came back as a walker (Alvin determinant if Carver shoots him in the head).
Clementine and Kenny (Determinant) are the remaining members of the original Season One group.
Huh, I guess the person was misinformed then. Thanks for the info. I assumed she revealed this somewhere in an optional dialogue choice.
By the time season two begins with Clementine, Christa and Omid roughly 90% of the main characters from the comic have been dead for several months. Glenn (who you met in episode 1 of season 1) got his head smashed by a baseball bat, Dale got bit and had his legs amputated, Morgan has bitten and then died after his arm was cut off, his son Duane was bitten and turned (but not put down), Lori and Judith died at the prison along with Hershel and most of his children... oh, and Rick, Carl, Andrea and Michonne all have suffered horrific injuries that left them with some gruesome scars. As sad as season 2 was, those were the LUCKY characters that died. Nearly 3/4 of the main cast are dead, zombiefied or insane by that point.
Well during an emotional moment like that, no one is going to really think rationally especially someone as young as Clementine.
We never found out if Maybelle and Maybelle Jr survived

I know right and she's probably one of the most underrated characters. I seriously believe that Rebecca's character was created at the last minute to replace Maybelle in season 2. I mean watching Rebecca in season 2 I could tell it was just Maybelle with a new character model. They probably had trouble getting Maybelle's voice actor to return or something.

Sarah and Carlos were eaten alive to the point that they weren't coming back as walkers. Pete, if you went with him, is shot in the head before he turned. Nick, in his death in A House Divided, was also eaten to the point that there was no bringing him back as a walker.
