Do you think telltale is going to eventually try to make a game for the TV show, or even the comic?
i think telltale would make a HUGE profit if they used more creative freedom and made and episodic decsion based series on the walking dead TV show. Telltale, please read and make some notes.
How they Would Pull it off...
Well, There would be an Episode of the game for each episode. except in season one turn the last 2 into a double episode.
1: Creative Freedom.
Look i know its supposed to be BASED off the series, but if they used more Creative freedom they could acomplish more! Think about it. How Badass would season one of the game be if we got to keep glenn? but because of creative freedom restrictions, Glenn couldn't stay. Now, if you put creative freedom into the game about the show... you could rewrite the frickin' show! how awesome would it be to rewrite the walking dead? think about it. Episode 2 of the Show for Example.
Choice 1:
[ORIGINAL] Rick leaves Meryl handcuffed to a roof.
[New Idea]
[Leave Merle] [Take Merle with you]
See?
Rewrting the show be YOUR standards would be Epic, Right?
2:Contolling The Characters.
Now i Know A LOT of People who have ALWAYS wanted to be in control of rick grimes. same with people who want to play as Daryl, Carl, Micchone, ETC. So, Each Season, you can Control another character!
3: Cheating Death.
Now think about it. what would you be like if you can MANIPULATE who dies, when they die, and HOW they die? for example.
The Game:
Save Nick: He Dies In Episode 4.
Save Ben: Dies in Ep 5
Save Alvin: Dies In Ep 3
Save Sarah: Dies later on
Save Carley/Doug: Dies in Ep 3
So try this.
Save Lori from the way she dies in the show: She dies the way she did in the comic later on.
Save Hershel in the Prison: Gets Eaten by Gareth Like in the comics, instead of his show death.
So that would be REALLY cool!
Thats why they should do it. or at least try.

That sounds like it could be interesting but I don't really want any Walking Dead that isn't Clementine's story, I never really liked Rick so it would feel weird to play him, the only characters I liked in the show were Shane and Dale and I don't want to play as them, in any case nice idea but I'd rather they continue the story they have for TWD and make other different games like TWAU or GOT which I hope is good instead of making more TWD stuff.
Still it's a nice idea and I'd probably play it but to be honest I'm probably going to play everything that Telltale makes, I mean I already have most of Telltale's games though I've only beaten like 5, I don't really like point and clicks all that much but I do like Puzzle games so the Puzzle Agent games were awesome, I'd prefer another one of those over a new TWD game, Season 3 is fine though, I do want that.
I'm more interested in having Telltale stick to new stories and original characters for The Walking Dead.
The show and comics have already been told in their own format, and I don't want to retread Rick's story for the sake of a bigger marketing appeal.

Eh... not really just to slightly alter the order of the events and if it's well done like Season 1, also the relationships Rick has with the other characters, but neither Season 1 or 2 let you make much in the way of changes to the story so I figure this would be the same.

Kirkman already stated he will not put TWD game characters in TWD comics or tv world lol.

The show is separate from the comics and the game, of course characters from the game won't appear.

Well that's even more reason for me to not care about the comics, I kinda still wanted to get into them for the possibility of crossover with the game even though I didn't like the little I read of them, but if there isn't going to be absolutely anything then I guess it's going even lower in my "To read" list, I mean maybe it does get good at some point, I probably should give it another chance, but it can wait since I don't really care about it right now.

But it doesn't work because you already know what's going to happen, it's like a second playthrough rather than a first and no matter how much I've enjoyed my other playthroughs the original one, "My canon" if you will is the one that stays with me, it's kinda ruined for a first playthrough if I already know what's coming, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that would feel that way, for example one of my favourite scenes from the game was the diner in episode 2, why? Because I didn't know the St. John's were cannibals the first time I played it, I was so shocked that I almost vomited and I took too long to get there and Clementine ate some Mark, it was awful, but it was so powerful that I never forgot, there can't be moments like that if you already know what's coming, like I said before it's not the worst idea but it's a waste considering they could be doing something new.

No but really! I think it would ruin both tv and game series, the tv show's story has been told and messing with that would kill it imo, and as already said the game would have no impact due to the fact we already know the cannon...
Plus.. the tv series runs on a lot more episodes than the game, trying to cram a story of what 18 episodes ? Into 5 would make it even more tackie imo...
