When Lee had to cut off his OWN arm.
I hated being in that 6℅ of people going alone...
I wouldn't consider that shocking, but definitely depressing, especially Lee's line when he says, "This could have been Clementine if I hadn't found her," or something like that.
I tried keeping it to non-determinant moments, that's why I put Carley or Doug being killed by Lilly. But that was definitely shocking.
I'm planning on it, don't worry, I just want to see how this one does first and then I'll work on S2.

Going into the hidden room in the St Johns farmhouse and finding mark legless was one of the most shocking, intense, horrifying I've seen in my gaming history. Coupled with the fact they were downstairs getting ready to enjoy a nice tasty hunk of meat just left me in a dazed state trying to rush my Lee down those rickety wooden steps.
Katjaa's suicide wasn't as shocking, but it was another very moving and touching moment in the game. Well handled.

Finding Mark legless was shocking when i first played, i knew something bad had happened but i didn't expect to find him without legs.
Katjaa's suicide and Lee getting but where also really shocking moments.
To be honest, I kind of did. I knew something was wrong with the St. John family as soon as I walked onto their farm. And when Brenda kept saying I couldn't see Mark, my suspicions grew. And when I saw the room in the barn, I figured they were cannibals and that Mark was going to be eaten.
I knew they where cannibals when i saw the barn but i expected to find Mark's body and him be completely dead, him being alive and then crawling down the stairs was shocking :P
Definitely when Carley got shot. I had really been into CarLee until then and it almost made me cry. Also, when Lee died or was bitten. But mostly when Carley got shot.
When Lee got bit, it was just so sudden and it came out of nowhere.

When the boy from the attic was buried with his dog. It didn't actually shock me, but you know, it made me cry. I mean of course losing Lee was the saddest part of S1, but it was clear to me from the beginning.
Lilly shooting Doug/Carley, Lee getting bit, and all of the walker jumpscares.
it was easily when Lee got bit, I was not expecting that at all.. When Clementine went off to find the stranger i expected for there to be a huge adventure but when Lee went to grab the walkie talkie and a fucking walker came out of the garbage and attacked Lee I got so scared and sad at the same time, because I knew Lee got scratched from that fucking walker and I got so mad because i thought he wasn't gonna find Cleme in time to say goodbye but he did and I love knowing that Cleme got a goodbye.

Lee getting bit I remember when that happened and my jaw just dropped. Also Kenny's death in season 1 I thought to myself theres no way he's dead and looked what happened he survived after all.
