A Telltale style TWD first/third person shooter
If we are getting a storydriven episodic Borderlands game from Telltale then i would like to see a Gearbox The Walking Dead first/third person shooter , working very close with Telltale games off course.
The dialogues can be long to bring the story and you still will have 4 choices when you can speak , but i would like to see it

Just to teach Resident evil a lesson would be enough reason for me...
If i want to shoot zombies, i will just play left 4 dead. I thinks its better to focus on one thing and make it good rather than adding action just to make the game more appealing to the kids.

Yeah it will be look at Borderlands its Cell-shaded and so is TWD make it a slow paced Uncharted/TLOU/Army of two(but then good)cellshaded zombiegame Telltale style

Well, you DID just insult what Zykelator likes, so don't expect nice and peachy comments. Also, L4D was and still is a great Zombie game.
Tales from the Borderlands isn't gonna be a shooter though, they already announced it. The action/combat in it is gonna be very similar to the action/combat in Wolf Among Us. The FPS action in it would be like the FPS action in Walking Dead s1, so thats to say very little.
And I wouldn't want one anyway. I like Telltale for their point-and-click story driven games. If I want a first or third person shooter game with zombies there are many to pick out.

I've never said borderlands 3 , it is still a borderlands game and borderlands is a shooter (until now) lets make a Tales from the Call of Duty then

I already explained that adding shooting would just make the game more appealing to kids. Kids prefer action over drama, in case you havent noticed.
Left 4 dead wasnt bad, dead space series isnt bad (not really zombies, but its the same thing), the last of us isnt bad, dead island wasnt bad (in co-op), cod zombies isnt bad, dayz isnt bad. Cant remember more good zombie type games where they are fast.
28 days/weeks later is good, dawn of the dead 2004 is good aswell.

No it's supposed to be like PayDay a four player Co-Op Walking Dead game.
For me could only improve the gameplay point and click, and increasing episodes that hold on to more action. I do not want to turn a shooter, I hope you keep the drama and the story of the S1 / 2. At most wanted them to give more freedom to choose the weapon, etc.
Dont even try to talk about realism with zombies. They shouldnt even be able to move because their hearts dont do anything, or are you just going to choose what parts of reality zombies can defy and what not?
You probably play games like COD and etc. Well, Survival Instinct is a TWD game, if you like you can play. Now... First Person Episodic game with choices? Well, you don't know what you say. First, Telltale is a Adventure company, don't make this type of AAA ( shitty ) games; second, Choices can't can exist in First Person games, this turns the Progamming very difficulty, BUGS every way... You can have discussions after you've gotten to a survivor and make your choice what you want to say... not while shooting
And a TWD shooter telltale style will be a full game offcourse(just like borderlands) 18+ and not made for kids, very dark and dramatic
TTG and Gearbox could do what Activision failed to do( i hate COD after MW2) their TWD game almost ruined the franchise just to make a quick buck
I don't want a shooter TWD, no matters what you say. If anything like '' shooter '' happen to Telltale's TWD, I just want:
1° Keep the Point and Click, the game is a adventure. Action games don't need a story, like COD, I don't want to see this happen to TWD.
2° Jogging while you have the '' parts '' of the zombie to attack. Insertion of avoidance, not to let the repetitive combat.
3° Longer Episodes, parts of action and parts of conversation. More exploration, FILES for example, Easter Eggs. RANDOM meetings with walkers.

You can TALK to survivors you've rescued after the shooting part not while shooting.
I just can't see whats wrong with playing as 2 persons or even a group of 4 if the story and drama is maintained but still a shooter, and the point and click, well TLOU had a solution that also worked when looking at the collecting of stuff and crafting
But Telltale is not a AAA company, you don't understand? You can't compare TLOU and T'TWD ( TLOU is cliche in things here, another thing here... ). About the '' shooting '', this is different. Most part of the game is the '' shooting '' unnecessary; is all very fast, and we can't do another things, I want exploration. Normally, when a game is '' shooter '', the focus on history is lost: Tell me one game who have a really good story, good characters, dark ( Don't say Destiny or anything like that, plis ) but is really good in question of gameplay ( Games like GTA5, TLOU ). EDIT: Craft Stuff? No. I just want more freedom to choose weapon.
Thats when Gearbox comes in to play, and they don't have to copy TLOU i just gave an example

Honestly I like more story games, I enjoy them more than just shooting around. I just can't imagine the game being like that it's like it loses half of itself.
I guess this could keep me busy until left 4 dead 3 comes.

I dont mind twd universe based zombie shooter which is similar to left 4 dead, thats ok. This type game of isnt what you were talking about. I liked payday 1 & 2 and if its similar with twd theme, im buying it.
true. when I got TWDG s1 in July this year I finished it in 2 days! and then you've gotta wait for other episodes! I just wish season 3 will be longer like first season was.
right now I'm playing Borderlands The Pre-Sequel and it kinda frustrates me when I've gotta replay some parts even though I was close to killing those scavs or whatever, I just remember how intense it was playing the walking dead and all those dialogue choices plus decisions, man the best game.
Now if only they could update Payday 2 on consoles before they make this XD I appreciate it Shubbalubbadingdong!
