I think they all compliment each other. I am not up to date with the comics (I am only about to the point where the show is now but I fully intend to get up to date and am buying all the volumes off of amazon).
Even though the show takes place in an alternate universe from the novels, comic, games there likely wouldn't be any novels or games if it wasn't for the popularity of the tv show. And the tv show is getting its own companion series soon so we will be able to see what is going on in other areas of the world in the tv show universe as well.
TV series. The comics seem to have dragged out a little too long to the point of being uninteresting. They should had ended it or at least Rick's story with the All Out War story arch. The game also seems to be going absolutely nowhere what with them killing every single person off every season just for the sake of pure shock value. The writers also dug themselves Into a whole by giving us multiple endings. Hopefully, things change with S3 and the franchise does a complete 180 or else I'm pretty much done with this series. With the TV series it keeps me interested enough to keep me watching. They give us new characters that the comics never had or at the very least weren't important in the books(Tara,Daryl,Bob,Sasha,Beth,etc...). They also keep old characters in show that the comics have already did away with which already did and will continue to change the story drastically ( Carol, Tyreese, Judith, etc...). They also give us brand new story lines that never happened in the comics to keep us on our feet and keep the comic readers guessing such as the new Beth storyline we have right now.
TV series is pretty cliche, everybody is badass. At least the game is more realist, the history ( of the two seasons ) is better than the four seasons of the series ( At now, Season 5 still no finished ). You don't need to agree, I just wanted to '' rebut '' the answer. Bye.

Thanks for not starting a fight within 2 pages. That's a record! By the way, I think the comics and the show is better than the game because in the game they keep killing everyone and they do that every single episode. I think they shouldn't kill someone at least for an episode.
Show for sure. The show was my first introduction to the Walking Dead universe, so its probably why I like it the best. Also, I'm more attached to the characters because unlike the game, not all of them get killed off at the end of every season. I never liked the comics and if I had enjoyed s2 of the game as much as s1 then it probably would have been my favorite.

The game is better because of the interactions you can do and have with many of the charters.
S1 of the game, then the TV series, didn't read the comics, hated S2 of the game.

Game, easily.
Game ( Poor Cliche ) > Comic ( Big Cliche ) > TV Show ( Extreme Cliche )

I highly disagree and I don't really have time to argue with you, but I respect your opinion.
Thank you, bye o/
Game and the comics.
For me it's Game>Comic>Show
Same than me, lol
To me:
Season 1 game
Season 1 show
Older Comics (volume 1-10 or so)
Season 4 show
Comis 11-17/18
Season 3 show
Season 2 game
New comics (volume 18-19 or something)
Season 2 show
Season 1 Game > Season 2 Game > Comics > Show.

Are comics really that good? I should read them.
No. Waste your time Here instead.
Game then comic.
Hate the show with a passion
They are really good. So much better than the TV show, you won't be disappointed if you love the game or show
game>comics>show
I love the three equally. They all have their pros and cons.
Yeah, They are vey gory and dark but they also have great plotlines.
I have yet to cry in the show or comics but in the game I've already cried on 3 seperate occasions so...
