I would expect that you read the book which your god is based upon. Currently, we are pretty much at the point where there is absolutely no reason to "need" god as explanation for anything. We have solid idea how universe came to exist and how stuff worked from that point on, so we know that we live in universe which doesnt need a god, thus there is no reason to belive it exists. When the Dutch people founded New Amsterdam(New York) they wanted Sinterklaas there so they made up Santa Clause to celebrate the birth of Christ with a character that looks like their Sinterklaas to make them feel like home, even though Christmas is almost 3 weeks later then Sinterklaas(5 december in The Netherlands/Holland 6th dec Belgium)

I follow a religion but I don't read the bible. I don't need a book to tell me how to believe in God. I've learned to respect all other religions and people who don't believe in religions as well. And kids aren't being brainwashed (I know it was your harsh way to say it) into religion, the parents teach them what they believe is right like any parent should, then the child will determine whether they want to follow that path or not. I would expect that you read the book which your god is based upon. Currently, we are pretty much at the point where there is absolutely no reason to "need" god as explanation for anything. We have solid idea how universe came to exist and how stuff worked from that point on, so we know that we live in universe which doesnt need a god, thus there is no reason to belive it exists. I dont mind if someone just says that they believe in god, but if you claim to be right about it, its going to cause conversations.

Think it this way. You have infinite amount of time, but only finite amount of things to do. At some point you have done everything but you must keep doing something for eternity. Santa Claus came from Sinterklaas from Holland, he was a religious person from Spain in the stories(but really from Turkey).
When the Dutch people founded New Amsterdam(New York) they wanted Sinterklaas there so they made up Santa Clause to celebrate the birth of Christ with a character that looks like their Sinterklaas to make them feel like home, even though Christmas is almost 3 weeks later then Sinterklaas(5 december in The Netherlands/Holland 6th dec Belgium)
So Santa originated from a real character , they just named him a little bit different.
The North Pole was completely made up but Santa Claus (Sinterklaas) did exist

I have read about the origins of Santa. Did you know that in Finland, Santa was a man who dressed up as fertility rite, buck. He had horns, birch bark mask and upturned coat. He went from house to house and drank alcohol which was offered to him and he scared kids on purpose while he was drunk. He gave presents to nice kids and wooden sticks to bad kids.

Who said I deny them? I don't believe in evolution but that doesn't mean it can't be possible. Also gravity seems to make enough sense so I accept that. Just because I believe in a God doesn't mean I deny these things.
I'm really not going to go into this nor do I want to. But I will say, those who don't have respect for something, will never understand that something. And seeing as you lack respect for anyone who's religious means that you don't understand it.
