Next Gen Ports TWD 1 & 2

Not sure if this has been covered so forgive me.

I'm a huge fan of TWD game and have both seasons on Xbox 360 and season one on IOS. Now I don't mind paying for it on the next gen consoles I just want to know the following:
why there is no save transfer
discount for already owning the game on previous generation
Most importantly why it's now double the original price?

I really love it but I'm so torn

    It has always been $25 each season on my consoles. If you buy it at target it's $30 plus tax.

    I'm actually from the UK so it isn't in dollars for me. But it has definitely gone up in price since last gen.

    I'll pretty much throw my money at anything TWD, but even I struggle paying more for something I've owned since day one
