Am I The Only One...
...Who is distraught that Lee couldn't say ''I love you'' to Clementine, and Clementine say it back I mean really Telltale, you're going to put us through 5 episodes of Lee and Cleme as best friends/ Father and Daughter (the way I look at it) and not once do we get to say "I love you" to one another.
The reason I'm so sad over it and I know this will be alot of other peoples reasoning if they agree is because we started off the season with Lee Everett finding this little girl and wanting to protect her, so that was the aim of the game to stay alive and make sure this little girl stays safe, that was the goal of the game and everyone with a brain knew that. Lee and Clementine grew so close together that if you just met and clementine had a little bit darker skin (not racist) then you would instantly think that they were father and daughter just from the way that Lee treated Clementine and they way Clementine treated Lee back. We went through at least 11-12 hours all together playing with these characters (not all at once unless you play it non stop now) and not once did we get anything close to an "I love you" from neither Cleme or Lee. Personally I loved both of the characters I loved Cleme's cuteness and I loved Lees emotions for Cleme and wanting to keep her safe, and i did say right at the end of episode 5 "No Time Left" I love you Cleme and i tryed to reinterpret Clems voice to say I love you too Lee. The closest thing we got to say to Cleme was "I'll miss you" and she replies with "Me too" and thats not even a forced choice you get to choice whether you want to say I'll miss you Clem, or even at the St. John Dairy when Clementine said to Lee "I want you to stay lucky aswell" i thought Lee was gonna respond with something like, "Don't worry Clem I'll stay safe just for you", they might not have loved eachother in a parental way yet considering it's only been 3 months after they met which I can understand but at the end of Episode 5 I was so sad that i coulnd't say "I love you Clem"
At the end of the day Telltale made us go through having to see Lee pass out about 3 times and having to see Clem cry and smash a walkers brains to death, yet we still couldn't say "I love you"

I'm also sorry that everytime i make a discussion it's about a million lines long with a shit tonne of commas, I like to type and I like using punctuation to my advantage
DISCLAIMER: this is only a guess, so please don't hate me for this, since i don't agree with it.
Maybe TellTale didn't want that option, because it sounded a bit... Pedophile. A man who picked her up from the street, without knowing her, and then telling her that he loves her.
PS: remember to read Disclaimer
i will have to disagree with that. it wouldn't have felt pedophile if he did in his death scene, if he did it in episode one, it would have felt pedophile
In my opinon...
Yes you are the only one.
Do you want people's hearts to crush into a million pieces? Some are still grieving over "I'll miss you".
That would of killed me too many feels.
I think saying "I'll miss you" is more meaningful, less awkward, and more heart-breaking than saying "I love you" at this point. Clementine and Lee haven't met each other for that long, so saying the latter would have came across a little heavy handed.
I can understand Lee not saying "I love you" in like the barn on Hershels farm or something, but i don't think that it would have sounded pedophile for saying I love you Clem when Lee is about to die
"I'll miss you" sounds ten times more depressing than "I love you" imo.
There is a difference between saying "I love you" and showing it through your actions. The lengths that Lee went to save Clem and the risking of his life to secure her safety is showing your love for that person. It can go without saying when it is shown through your actions.
Sorry but Lee's relationship with Clementine is far more than picking her up from the street and telling her he loved her. I suggest playing the game again before saying that.
As people said, weirdos would take it out of context.
This.
my god... are you of real? Look at the disclaimer, it clearly states that i don't agree with it, and that its just a guess.
How did you overlook that?
Her/He don't said '' I love you '' and anyway I cried, I mean... depends from your gameplay. You can develop a really sentimental relationship with her or not, but you aren't your dad... and yep, this sounds pedophile.
It doesn't sound pedophile and it enrages me when peoplem say that.
what...
