Would you like some single season games?
I know that this particular game comes out with seasons so they need a story that connects them. How would you feel if TellTale released a Walking Dead like game that's built around the same world but it's a stand alone game. Meaning you can truly make decisions that alter the way it ends. Personally I think it would be pretty sweet. As long as they made the game long enough, with enough story content I would love to play a game over, and over again seeing alternate endings, and how things change based by my decisions.
What say you?

You mean like TellTale made their very own Ip? :O
Maybe. The problem with making a 1 season game is if it's really good, no matter what the fans are gonna want more, Look at the Wolf Among Us, except that was never said if it was just supposed to be 1 season.
We already have a single season game by Telltale. The Wolf Among Us.
Yeah, Wolf Among Us is gonna be a problem for Telltale because the majority of their fans (including myself) want more, and yet there has been no update on a DLC or whatever.
Guess we gotta keep playing the waiting game...
Yep, it would be one thing if Telltale said "This was a one time thing" but that's whats annoying, They have not said anything.
That would be pretty nice, and its also pretty likely if s3 ends up not continuing Clem's story arc and having a new character.
Yeah, all they have said is "We really want to revisit the world of Fables." when asked if they are going to make a season 2 fo Wolf.
I hope that means they will eventually punch out a DLC if not a full second season.
Id honestly prefer if they just said sorry guys thats it rather than just being completely silent about it.
Yeah, I'd feel really sad but at least I wouldn't just be desperately clinging at the first sign of a sequel everytime Wolf Among Us gets brought up.
Yeah I really want Season 2 as well
Hopefully that is not the case.
They should at least say something, I hope there's a season 2 but if they decide to make one it might not come out till like 2016 maybe 2017 because they're doing tons of other stuff.
Did you really have to do that..?
Well I would love to have a game with seasons that follow but if you have all kinds of different endings based on decisions I just don't think it's possible to have a second game following every alternate ending. Not unless Telltale is going to invest a significant amount of time, and money....
I'm talking about a single game that can have like 20 alternate endings, and tons of alternate dialogue, story arches based on nearly every decision you make. I'm talking about being able to actually save people, or go dark and kill people. Forge sexual relationships. Be a good friend, and leader, or be a horrible dictator in this post apocalyptic, zombie filled world.
we already have plenty of single season games
the wolf among us
back to the future
Jurassic Park
Hector
etc
Are any of those taking place in a post apocalyptic, zombie world?
The dude has something against Wolf getting a s2 for some weird reason.
He's talking about an apocalyptic based game
I think that the wolf amoung us should be a season game cause I don't think it could get better than that in my opinion
Don't ask me. It is pretty illogical if you enjoyed the game.
Why would someone not want to get another Season for TWAU? Seems pretty illogical.
They are adapting the game for a comic that's supposed to come out December of 2014.
never mind.
Sorry I posted a link for episode 2, not season 2. my bad.
It be hard to get better, for sure, but I would definitely like Telltale to at least try.
There have been previous Telltale games with only 1 season. At least, for now they only have 1 season.
Well, I feel exactly the opposite. A Season 2 might not be better than the original game, but I see no reason at all why there shouldn't be one, especially when it's based on such a rich and fascinating universe with huge lots of potential and a great amount of possibilities for development. And I'm certain the Fables universe is not going to run out of it until it gets at least 2 seasons. Just think about how many different stories can still be told, and how many ways to continue the current one there still are. Besides, as far as I know, there's a pretty large gap between the game's events and when the comic takes place. One or two more seasons of this marvellous franchise can fit there just fine.
Subjectively speaking, I would like to point out that I kind of enjoyed Wolf even more than even the first Season of TWD. I just love the setting of a 80s' noire criminal drama, I've always had a soft spot for these things. But what's most importantly, the characters. I really enjoyed everyone in the game, Telltale have done a fantastic job on endowing them with interesting personalities and life energy, so to say. But one of them (easy to guess who lol)... literally took over my soul, body and mind, and I'm crossing my fingers that one day I get to see her again... alive. Oh well. Let's just say, I have my own personal reasons for wanting a Season 2 so badly. And I got high hopes that it will be there. One lovely day.
Because Smoke & Mirrors and In Sheep's Clothing. I'm all for it if it doesn't suffer another massive rewrite.
I would prefer to be called by my username, Shubba. And I'm not against The Wolf Among Us getting a season two, I just see no point in it. If you truly crave more of the Fables universe, there's Fables (the best), Jack of Fables, and Fairest.
Hector and Puzzle Agent...
