Looks like I fixed my washing machine. No more spending money at the laundromat, no more rewearing clothes. I feel productive today. I can go outside tomorrow.
Yes, that's what I mean. You guys don't call it that?
Well, it will get to the point where you will have to make a decision. You will be in my position sooner rather than later. Even if you work part-time hours, it will start to affect you once you get further into your career. You've still got tome to think about what you reallly want.
The department used to provide gloves, now they don't. I honestly feel like it's a little ridiculous. I buy my own now, but my latest pair w… moreas stolen around a month ago. Regardless, gloves didn't seem to prevent the problem for whatever reason. They definitely helped though. I'm not really sure what you mean by leveling. Are you talking about pulling the products forward on the shelves? If so, then yes, I am asked to do that as well.
Perhaps I will do that. Its something I might consider in the future for sure. As of right now I'm somewhat content with just doing part time hours and going to school. I have always been kind of hesitant to work full time hours in combination with classes.

I'm kind of confused on what you're saying here. What position are you in? If I'm ever in need of the extra cash I would definitely jump up to consistently working full time. As of right now though, I don't even have my own place. I make enough money to pay my school dues per semester, among other things, so I'm doing alright on money without having to burden myself during the school semester. To be fair, I would say that the vast majority of college kids do not work full time hours while also being full time students. During winter/summer breaks I'll definitely go up to that level, though.

You said you'd consider talking to your manager. Becoming a full-time associate opens many other doors for you. You don't just stay there, you keep climbing. If it ever gets to that point you're gonna have to make a decision whether to stick with what's giving you the gains right know or what you originally thought would. That's the position I'm in. What to leave, the place where I'm quickly climbing the ladder and the sky is the limit or the career I worked so hard on? It's a tough place to be at.
We call it "facing".
