After months learning from Lee. Clem has adapted to this world, she wasn't built for it. And we don't really know how Sarah would have adapted because S2 had such abysmal character development.
I actually liked her story. She was the first to help Clem (determinant) showing that she is a kind person. Not only that but it's somewhat truthful. She was babied by Carlos, he didn't prep her for anything. He was all she had really, and when the only thing, you think is protecting you, gets taken away. How do you react?

"A pinky swear, is forever."
Luke for sure. No question. He's my 3rd favourite character (and overall favourite not including Clementine and Lee). Also, no offence to their fans but; I don't really care much for Nick or Sarah, I don't hate them or dislike them I'm just not really bothered about them and I don't see what all the hype is about them, they seem a bit... Overrated to me. Prepares for incoming hate comments telling me my opinion is wrong... :P

Ah well it's good to hear people reacting possitively haha! I love Luke, I have nothing against Sarah and Nick I just don't see what the big fuss is about them, their mediocre characters to me but I understand not everyone will have the same opinion:P
I think they did. The leaving her in that trailer or not, symbolizes the pinky swear. You really need to think about how much that's worth. If Luke, (who's known her longer) is thinking about leaving her. Then what is Clem supposed to think? Clem knew something was off about Sarah, Carlos warned her. But she never really understood. If you save Sarah from the trailer, when she falls at the deck Jane tries to help. But she couldn't help herself. She just was unable to, due to the lack of post-apocalyptic parenting by Carlos. (IMO)
All the others just looked hw she died without sayind anything
We all known Genius Carlos
It´s determinant helping her in the deck and Jane didn´t want to
I hate Luke
You think that is right just leave her be eaten alive?
She just saw HER FATHER BE EATN ALIVE IN FRONT OF HER. How do you think that Clem would have reacted if Lee was eaten alive while they were walking throw the herd?

But that isn't what Telltale literally gave us, it's what your mind chooses to believe is entailed deeper in the story/writing. What they really gave us was absolutely no mention of a very intimate, touching, and meaningful expression after the fact. And it's actually quite sad that they missed such major opportunities like this.
As for Sarah not helping herself when the deck falls on her... the deck fell on her. How was she supposed to help herself in that situation? Turn into the hulk? I agree with the premise you're making. That she wasn't yet acquaintanced with the world and she wasn't yet ready to face it by herself. Which is a fantastic opportunity for Clementine to come into the picture, but unfortunately TellTale felt it more beneficial to write off a (er... the, actually, singular) dynamic character because they couldn't figure out how to write her story in a good way. "Loose ends," and what not.

I didn't say it's right to leave her in the trailer. I'm saying that's where the pinky promise comes into play. Do you leave her or try everything to help her? I saved her. But when she falls off the deck, I made Jane try to save her. She just wasn't able to help herself.
And if that happened to Lee, Clem definitely wouldn't start screaming at the top of her lungs, and start sprinting. She'd shutdown sure, but she'd stick with the group and keep going.

lol, no. She could've focused on what she needed to get out. Jane got the heavy part off, but Sarah was so focused on the walkers getting her. She couldn't do anything but scream for help.
That's some high level interpretation. So is Jaded X Gamer's interpretation of S2. https://www.telltalegames.com/community/discussion/85431/… moretheory-season-2-is-actually-a-dying-dream

That was an extremely large chunk of wood, and plus she was at an awkward angle. The walkers 7 feet behind her and closing didn't help. I can't fault her for not being able escape in the slightest. Largely irrelevant to the more serious part of my posts, though, so I'll just end that part of the conversation with "Agree to disagree."

Luke, easily. He was the most useful, the most trustworthy, the most self-reliant, and the most morally (Disregarding Sarah and her childish innocence, maybe) correct out of all of them.
I think I get what you're saying. TellTale could've done more with Sarah. I can agree with that. All I'm really saying is, that she was gonna die eventually. Can't hold her hand forever

That was exactly what I was getting at, but I don't agree with you on the new point. I'm not sure how she would have adapted to her new setting because they never gave her enough time to adapt. After Carlos died she fell into a spat of depression and withdrawal, but that hardly means she would have remained as such. She showed incentive like wanting to be taught how to fire a hand gun and overall interest in surviving, so I could definitely see her not "dying eventually" (obviously eventually, everyone dies, but you understand).

Sarah, without a doubt. I found her to be one of the most engaging characters of Season 2 since she was reminiscent of Clementine of Season 1, and I was hoping to see how she would grow beyond her initial problems and become stronger in her own way. Then...well, you know what during that infamous fourth episode and how it became a slap in the face to those who liked Sarah.
Nick is a close second, but compared to Sarah his treatment in Amid the Ruins wasn't quite as mean spirited, and he had one of the better character story arcs from Episode 1 and 2 before he slowly lost focus. Its a shame that he suddenly lost focus until he almost literally disappeared from the plot, but he still remained as one of the more interesting characters.
And as for Luke, for all the amount of time Telltale spent with him in a span of five episodes, I tried to connect with him but he ended up badly utilised to the point where I find him boring compared to the other characters. His competency and characterisation shifting from episode to episode doesn't help either and ended up making him look more incompetent and unlikable than intended.

Yeah, she was. Clem survived days w/o Lee, Saved molly's ass (determinant), and wasn't freaking out like a maniac, at the first sign of trouble.

"A pinky swear is forever." Yeah! I loved how they brought that up later in the story! It was so touching and meaningful! Oh.... nvm.
Luke

Quick! Grab this!
Grabs Thankyou! I'm prepared now:D
Sarah. Not even a hard one.
You're not alone. Luke is also my third favorite character of the series. I still like Nick a lot, but I really really don't like Sarah.
Stay stong!

NOT SURPRISED, DAWN!
Your answer was also unclear.

Oh F*ck
All three died
...
It's Luke.
I knew it.
Uh...?
Dragon Quest Five reference. Search it up. Then you'll understand.
But no. For the introduce yourself thread, you said your name was Bianca. That is Bianca.
Oh.
Okay.
Luke, I miss the brother/sister relationship between Clem and Luke. T_T Luke you will be missed.

fak, sarah and nick tied, aghhhhhhhhh. Never would pick luke tho. its impossibru to pick between nick and sarah, the two best s2 characters tho
No one knows Dragon Quest anymore.... ;(
I didn't know it to begin with.
That's the point. It has become so unpopular that no one recognizes its' name.
I like Dragon Quest. I've only played one of their games on the DS and it was pretty cool. Too bad I didn't have the money to get into it at the time.
