Could S3 fill out the 16 Months timeskip?

This is more like DLC idea, but 16 months is plenty of time and one short DLC certainly wouldn't fully expand it. we could find out what happened to the Christa's baby and it would be a time when Carvers community was growing up, so the CG and 400 Days Characters could be finally developed enough. It would combine all the DLC ideas in the next season.

We missed a good opportunity to see Clementine changing from a scared little girl into a young survivor, and it'd be attempt to fix this up.

What do you think?

  • Its done now, they did that massive pointless timejump, the last thing id ever want is to do something before that now, choice matters little enough without going in reverse. A new person earlier on sure; why not. Also why do people feel the need for them to say "DA BABY DIED" on screen?

  • we saw how clem grow up in this season.

finding out more about christa's baby would in my opinion harm season 2. filling in the gaps yourself allows you so much more options on defining who your clem is.

and would it not be more interesting to find out what happened to the 400 days group after the fall of howe's? it also adds the opputionity to see what becomes of arvo, mike (and bonny)

i think skipping back in time would be one of the worst thinks telltale could do for season 3.

  • I don't think an entire season should revolve around that time period. The DLC for S2, however, would be a good time to cover it. There is way too much that happened and too much influence on her character to leave it up to the imagination, though for some of Clem's choices in S2 to make sense they probably won't be able to cover the time skip. GG TTG.

  • I'd work only with someone else as a protagonist.

  • Who the fuck would want that? Maybe a season 2 DLC but not the whole Season 3! I want something new and intresting in season 3. And I hope everyone from season 1 and 2 are dead by now. I want new characters to shine. No Kenny anymore pls. I like him but he outshined everyone in season 2.

  • Also why do people feel the need for them to say "DA BABY DIED" on screen?

And why do people are 100% sure the baby died off screen?

there is quiet some point to that time jump. you delude yourself if you think lee has actually thought clem to survive. this whole "you can make it on your own" thread would be completely ridiculous without that time jump.

completely defining a persons character is not enough consequence?

  • What if they didn't, and DLC will be about something else or won't happen at all.

    yeah. for "400 days". :-D

  • Time skip is my Nightmare

  • So your theory is that Christa and clem left the baby somewhere? Or what...?

There are many things wrong with each season of the game however having a bit of expectation for players to know what happened isnt one of them. You can imagine the baby's fine if you want but its clearly not from what they show

Also why do people feel the need for them to say "DA BABY DIED" on screen? And why do people are 100% sure the baby died off screen?

  • But they didn't show us anything, all we know is Clem was repeating "Not again, not again" after she thought AJ was gone, but that doesn't mean she saw Christa giving birth to her baby and the baby died on her eyes. That would also explain why she didn't know how to help Rebecca: "No one knows what to do", "Is that suppose to happen?", "What stuff do baby need when being born?". Maybe that was someone else with Christa who helped her or even was asked to take the baby, maybe Christa was in some kind of postpartum shock and left the baby somewhere because it reminded her of Omid.

  • I don't want anything to do with prequels.
