What do you think of this theory?
Everyone keeps going on about how the DLC is gonna have everyone's ending play a part and bring everyone up to speed for season 3. The fact is though that most DLC's don't impact the main story in such a big way, and that some people don't even bother buying DLC's.
My hypothesis? Season 3 is gonna have 6 episodes, and the additional first episode will be used to have everyone play through the aftermath of their ending and to a neutral location(s) for the rest of the game. What do you think of this?

I think its possible.
It would be awesome.
True, I never thought about the fact that some people don't buy DLC's, and I like the idea of a 6 episode season. If they're giving Game of Thrones 6 episodes, why not The Walking Dead?
The funny thing is that all of Telltale's games are DLC.
INDEED!
Wow, He gave me a new perspective O.O
I don't have any good image, but... a random probably will be okay.
An entire episode dedicated to one of your choices? Right.......

I like the idea of six episodes. The thing is that we don't know how long those Game Of Thrones episodes will be. Let's wait for GOT and Tales From The Boarderlands to fulfill its season first before we start theorizing what The Walking Dead:Season 3 will be like. I read somewhere how the TellTale staff said that TWD was a very involving game. I believe Melissa Hutchinson called it "a labor of love." One of the devs said on the TFTB side of the forums that he likes to focus on one game at a time so he can give his best. I'm sure TellTale is waiting for GOT and TFTB to conclude so they can go all in on TWD.
I agree, I think that if we get any DLC it wont have anything to do with Clementine, and that the first episode of S3 will be used to sync all of the S2 endings.
WAIT, WAIT, WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!
a DLC was confirmed?
No I'm just saying that most games tend to get DLC's and everyone seems to be set on that s2's DLC is gonna be about your different endings bringing you to a neutral location for s3, which I think is stupid since not everyone buys DLC's.
I like the idea. If TT used the 6 episodes design in Game of Thrones, why wouldn't they do it again with TWD S3? It's probably the best and safest solution.
Like Thrones? Hell Yes.
HELL YES!!!!!
No matter which one he chooses, he gets Woody.
A 6 episode continuation. Whatever works, I'm for it.
That is an extremely good theory - nice thinking!
I for one wouldn't be opposed. It would be interesting to see our own choices of endings get explored, and feel like those choices really did matter. It then leaves Telltale with the chance to link all of the endings together, making their lives easier.
If this happened, it seems like a win-win for everyone. I'd like to see this happen.
I hope Telltale is reading this thread so they can get a newer idea to start off the next season
Oh, I see.
I suspect they might try to experiment once again with multiple protagonists, seeing as they're using that format for the Borderlands game. And it's likely that Clementine will be one of the central characters.
I still think giving Clem multiple endings was a stupid idea because it was prematurely executed - if she's become so attached to this series, then giving her a proper conclusion(s) should have been saved up for the final Season rather than the second one.
I think they were more of suggestions for a DLC,
