I can't tell if that was an insult or not.
Like I said, it might never until Kirkman stops milking it.
it would depend on weather they decided on a happy ending or a heart crushing one. if happy, they would prolly completely reestablish civilization and wipe all the walkers off the planet or cure it or something. if heart crushing everyone will prolly die in the end and the walkers shall inherit the earth or ricks group/organization will all die and they will make a spinoff of some other group.
Kirkman's confirmed that he has the end planned out already.
He even knows what the last page of the last issue will look like exactly.
