I'm gonna get hate, but I kind of agree. The way I saw it, Lee was me. I don't have a big attachment to myself - it's pretentious in my opinion.
That is all.
I like Lee as a character. He was interesting. Sometimes, he could be bland. I got attached to Clementine in Season. One, when we weren't playing as her. That carried over into Season Two - I didn't see myself as Clementine. I love Clem, and I loved the first 3 episodes of Season Two, but I didn't see myself as her. :P
I think it was because she is a pre established character, and we already knew her. Maybe, maybe not. It's not like randomly playing Lee, where you have never seen this guy and don't really get that big of an attachment to him. Because he's me - and while I do legitimately like myself (just as a do to Lee), I do not have a large attachment to myself.
This is my opinion. No one ever said that what I said is fact.

we got ourselves a human being here!
If you like Lee and/or Clementine, then that only means that you like yourself!
I like Lee but I would really prefer it if we don't see him in season 3. I think that he is a great character but it would be really interesting to have Clem form a personality that's separate from her past. I think that many people forget that she had a life outside of being his surrogate daughter and I'd like to explore more of her interests and dreams for the future. I think that Lee is a great character but I do feel that the fandom worships him a bit too much.
