New Six Episode Format For The Walking Dead?

So I understand that the new Game of Thrones series from Telltale will be six episodes similar to their old format, in which I believe some other games such as Sam and Max were also six episodes in a series. Could this suggest that Telltale have been working hard to bring the format back, or do you think it'll just be a one-off for Game of Thrones?

Personally if The Wolf Among: Us Season Two is in the works and with The Walking Dead: Season Three, I'd love to see a six-episode format for both of them. But what do you guys think? Will there be a six episode format? Should there be, and if so or if not, why?

  • 10 episode format.

  • Already have a topic for that; it's pretty possible ( for TWD ) because of the multiple endings, so... I totally agree, but not for TWAU.

  • it has six episode because each episode is a characters story and the last episode brings them all together.

    5 character episodes

episode 6 ties in the story and they come together for the throne

    each episode 90 minutes

  • 20 Episodes, pls.

    4 hours, pls.

    Character development, pls.

    Luke, pls.

  • I don't think so, Telltale likes to experiment with their episode numbers, but I believe they prefer 5 to any other number. So I don't think so.

  • Yes, 6 episodes please Telltale, that way the first episode can be about your ending.

  • The more episode there is, the better it is.

  • We don't know for sure that each episode will be dedicated to a certain character. I could be wrong, but I tend to follow games quite heavily, so i doubt would have missed it. It's just an assumption, so the only true fact is that we're getting 5 playable characters. If I had to guess, I'd assume we'll swap between characters multiple times each episode.

Whether that means longer episodes or not, I hope so, but for me anyway, it's no biggie really. Lack of characterisation or jarring from the switches wouldn't be an issue really, because it's not much different from swapping between multiple places during a tv episode. The difference being we choose dialog and such for the characters. shrugs

  • I hope they do it like in 400 days.
