I have a question.
Is it possible to not convince Jane to rejoin the group at the campfire scene in No Going Back? I've never seen a play through where she doesn't end up joining the group. I know that if you don't convince Kenny, he beats up Arvo when he starts screaming, so if there is a way to not convince her, is there anything she does differently?
EDIT: Never mind, I got my answer. She does re-join the group regardless of what you do/say. Thanks @dojo32161 and @MrX1H2 for answering.

I think he means at the campfire in E5.
She joins the group again no matter what. If she did not, the ending of the episode would have radically changed, and it already has enough variations as it is.
I meant at the campfire scene when you go over to talk to her and you offer her the rum.
I did, I'm about to re-word it.
She always joins.
I will test it.
No problem.
She does, even if you decide to stay silent the whole time, interesting. Thanks.
Ooohh, whoops. Poor reading on my part, I suppose. :P
In that case, I don't know. It's possible she still comes no matter what anyways.
Nope, she always joins no matter what you do. What I'm asking myself is why is there even a notification for saying you convinced her? More pointless Telltale bullshit.
Says nothing.
Telltale: Congratulations! You convinced her!
Alright, thanks for testing. But I understand why they put that, sometimes they put notifications in even when it doesn't matter. I remember, seconds before Lilly shot Carley, I got a (?) Carley will remember that, minutes before Shawn died you had a (?) Shawn won't forget that. So sometimes they put it in to trick you or something.
At least with Kenny it mattered. You can't always convince him to rejoin the group.
Hold Up bottle of Rum
Says nothing
Jane: Time to not make it awkward !
She rarely takes offence to anything you say. Which pisses me off, considering that is incredibly forced.
Well let's be honest, not too many people are going to get angry at the actions of a kid. Even Kenny is nice to you regardless of your actions. The only time he gets mad at you is after the incident with Sarita, but since he's mad at you no matter what, it doesn't really matter. Also, both of them are so nice to you because they use you for their own personal gain. Jane uses you as a replacement for Jaime and Kenny sees you as the only family he has left and sees you as the only thing keeping him sane. So while you can be assholes to them, they're nice to you because they both need you in their life, that's why they tend to be more forgiving.
Yeah, I guess you're right. But wouldn't Jane atleast sense Clementine not wanting to talk to her?
I guess not because the game didn't demand it. Even for a game based on choices, the story has to advance somehow.
"This story is tailored to how you play"
Whether it's S1 or S2, that's a lie. It's the illusion of choice, but even with them, there is a plot and a story that has to be told. The game doesn't care if you stay silent or not, it has to progress to get to the end point no matter what.
That reminds me of when you first meet Molly, if you stay silent Clem asks the questions for you because the story cant move without that info.
Yup.
