Best Game ever
The Walking Dead series are the best games ever. Best Point and Click Adventure Game. Very nice story and very good memorable characters. Everything what makes a great game.
What do you guys think?
Oh I forgot one of the most important fact: the emotions in this game.

S1, yes. S2, no. Dueces!
I enjoy TWDG as much as the next guy, but to call it the best games ever? Not really..
Best "point and click adventure" game however? Yes.
This game has evoken the FEELS in me, which very few games have managed to do (Looking at you MGS)
So you're absolutely right in your last statement, the emotional impact this game has is its strongest suite, even though the game looks cartoonish, i felt a very strong attachment to the characters and why? Because i felt they were portrayed as humane as possible (The voice acting had a lot to do with it also).
S1 is definitely a nominee for best game ever.
S2, twas good, but only 201 and 202.
You took these words right out of my mouth!
Episode 5 was great, and Episode 3 is very under appreciated in my opinion, but Episode 4 sucks.
I love the game too, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't say it's the best game ever. But it's definitely one of the best games I have ever played, and if you haven't, I would also recommend The Wolf Among Us, it's style is similar to The Walking Dead.
Best Game ever: No.
Best Point and Click Adventure Game: Yes.
205 had many problems, but was enjoyable. 203 was a mess, but okay. 204, eh.
When I finished S1 I was like SECOND BEST GAME EVER!
Kingdom Hearts MASTER RACE!!!!
This was the first zombie game I liked in my whole life and after S1 I was looking what more games TTG made... I love TTG!!
What were some of the problems in No Going Back, just curious, same question for In Harms Way.
Don't get me wrong, love TWD but I wouldn't say its then best ever. Its one of my favorites though.
Yeah. Very interesting posts here from many people ^^
I know that this "best game ever" sounds superficial but dont misunderstand. I also played A LOT OF other games where I could say: Best game. I think this is clear. Everyone of us did. But it definitely one of the best games which I played in the last 2 years. And the war between Season 1 and Season 2. Its ok to say that some of you liked S1 more than S2 or other way but fact is: The Walking Dead is my dream.
Cant wait for Season 3. Dude Im gonna get an orgasm when S3 comes out. _
Oh and Bro I also downloaded The Wolf Among Us. But thx anyway for the recommend. I already saw this game from a friend and I knew I would like it so I bought it and I'm not disappointed. Dude this game is from Telltale ... it can't be bad
For me, it's definitely at the forefront.
Shot in the chest. Wake up in the back of the truck.
Hey what's up guys!! :DD
That cool jacket of hers was bulletproof.
I thinks its probably the best story based game.
Like most here, it's not the best game ever, but it's the best Point and Click Adventure game ever.
I liked Season 2 alot even tho most of choices didnt matter that much, but i loved the story.
Well she was clearly was in pain after it happened, she keeps putting her hand to the wound and says how it hurt. But remember, the same thing happened to Kenny in Starved for Help, he got shot and shrugged it off too.
In all seriousness, no they aren't. But I can totally see someone saying this.
Season 1 is on top 5 list, while Season 2 near my top 20.
And that eas bullshit. When Clementine got sho, though, it was supposed to be an extremely cathartic and climactic moment. The results of which would be evident, important, and determining, among many other relevant aspects, which none came to fruition. Instead we got "Oh, I was shot? Rad. Battle scars. Hua." after waking up alone, let me remind you --alone-- in the back seat of the truck. To which Kenny responds to with something like "we weren't sure you were going to make it." So you left her unsupervised in the back to potentially die? So she pokes it and voila... ALL BETTER! The perks of living in the ZA? Bullets are little more than sleeping pills!
Best plot hole fixer I've seen so far.
This game is filled with bullshit moments like that, from both seasons, why question the logic of the same game where Lee can fit shit like blowtorches and car batteries in his back pocket. I know this game, despite being in a ZA, is supposed to have a sense of realism, but sometimes, the writers take liberties with these things.
She was shot in the shoulder. People act like that bullet was from an anti-tank rifle.
Practice makes perfect!
No it wasn't.
Even if it was she was shot in the fucking shoulder.
Ever been shot? Doesn't need to be a tank round to hurt. All that blood as soon as she hits the ground? There was a lot of damage done.
Because its supposed to based on realistic reactions of people thrust into the world of the walking dead. Being able to carry things for a pass time puzzle is much less influential on the story than a little girl being shot and acting like she was hit with a wet noodle, or a paint ball at the most.
Lemme give you a little anatomy lesson:
This is where the heart is located:
This is where Clementine was shot:
Seriously? We're complaining about The Walking Dead characters doing unrealistic things? Carver was also shot, and he got up 2 seconds later. Clementine kicked down a door. She also chopped off Sarita's hand with ease. Her surviving a bullet is just another thing added to the list.
For real, I was like "what the fuck Telltale?!" when she got shot and miraculously survived, and was able to hold off Kenny/Jane with no problem in less than 24 hours.
I dont remember saying she was supposedly shot in the heart. So im not sure what your image is supposed to entail.
If I had access to my computer, and therefore paint, I would give you a lesson in anatomy. Instead I'll have to go with what I do have access to. Mainly definitions.
Chest: the front surface of a person's or animal's body between the neck and the abdomen.
Shoulder: the upper joint of the human arm and the part of the body between this and the neck.
Now if I could I would give you pictures directing the shoulders from the chest, but instead you will need to visualize the difference between "upper joint and area from the joint to the neck" and "area between the neck and abdomen". The shot is much too low to be the shoulder, therefore it is the chest.
Now, again, it doesn't really matter if she was shot in the chest or the shoulder. She reacts to it as if hit by a fly. And I'm not saying Carver's reaction to being shot, or Clementine knocking down a door, her chopping off an entire arm in one foul swoop, or the other idiotic things that happened aren't bad. I'm saying this one was especially idiot and bad.
Best game ever is simply a matter of opinion.
As I've mentioned here before, I'm old enough to remember when Pong was a new game, then came along Asteroids and Space Invader's then Dragon Lair blew those out of the water.
It is my opinion, after all the millions of games ever created, to me, Telltales TWD is the best game I've ever expirenced.
I will also add that it's ruined a lot of other game's for me because I just couldn't get into them. I got Episode 1 of TWAU and though I generally enjoyed it, it just didn't do anything for me and I've not bothered to get or even watch the rest of the series.
I've looked at the Borderland's trailer, just meh. I've never seen Game of Thrones so I have no real Idea what it's about and I don't really care.
The only game I continue to play is Iracing, Nascar sim racing while I wait for TWD season 3.
Again, this is only my opinion but I am more than happy to admit this game has ruined all other's for me and I hope Telltale takes this statement with a degree of pride. Thank you TTG!
P.S. The only other game I have any interest in is Overkill's The Walking Dead but that wont be out til 2016.
You didn't need to say she was shot in the heart, you were implying that where she was shot was fatal, like directly in the heart. And of course she wouldn't react to being shot, when has season two Clementine ever reacted to anything?
Carver's character DRASTICALLY changes in 203. He goes from a smart villain to a psycho.
No I wasn't. I implied exactly what I said, that she was shot in the chest. It's like me saying she was shot in the leg if she was shot in the leg. Or me saying she was shot in the hand if she was shot in the hand. Or me saying she was shot in the head if she was shot in the head. Not that, in matching first to last order, she was shot in the femur, or the thumb, or the occipital lobe.
Another good point! When did she react to anything? She teared up now and then but aside from that she rarely showed any emotion or pain. Sad really. Being shot in the chest and whisking the event and repercussions of said event away in one "fade to black" stuck out as particularly dumb.
Ditto man.
Loved S1, can't say the same for S2. I don't know if I'd call it the best game ever, but it is on my list.
Maybe Arvo DID shoot red paint at her.
It's like how Carver the Robot's reaction to getting shot in the arm - an injury that would cripple any human being's limb - is to immediately blow someone's head off with the same arm he was shot in. Just like how he can talk fine even when Clem blows his teeth out.
I guess the reason why Clem and Carver are the same is that they're both secretly robots.
Of course! Whew, game saver.
