It's an interpretation. If you can justify a reasonable interpretation, then it's fine. Since when am I not allowed to do this? The whole fo… morerum has had threads filled to the brim of interpretations, since the Season ended, and good ones at that.
Also, no. The characters were certain clothing with certain colours. Those colours have certain attributes. Those attributes match the character in some cases. Done. There are no patterns to find, it's just your interpretation.
Yeah, I agree. He does look like a teacher, but doesn't really act like it since, well, the apocalypse. Maybe before Carver's he was the teacher and Rebecca was the wife in the group that Russell was in?
That doesn't mean that they have to do it like that. Having Carver be red would look kinda silly and far too obvious, so they could have perhaps done it in more subtle ways. However I understand what you mean
