Bump! Season's over and I think its fair to say that it never really recovered after all the blunders/mistakes/bad-writing.
Think Telltale improves in Season 3 or shall we all expect more of the same whenever that comes out?
You know I read this post about some odd months ago and looking back I really do see where most fans are coming from now. Season 2 made mistake, ALOT OF THEM. And I truly do understand many fans frustration this season. However, I feel that people treat season 2 like its "Ride to Hell Retribution" due to all the negative feedback its been getting. I honestly forgave a good amount of the sins this season (same with season 1), but of course not the real bullshit ones.(tears up a bit over what happened to Nick) But I just fell that a good chunk of the fans are making some (not all) of the the issues that happened this season bigger than they already are. I'm sorry if I sound rude, really I am, i'm just putting my two cents in the mater thats all.
Did you have to bump this? I'm going to report this thread for necroposting, since I'm pretty sure everyone feels this topic has run it's course and is over and done with. There was literally no reason for you to bump this.

I disagree that Nick was just "a new Ben". Sure, they may have had a similar habit of alienating themselves from the group and getting into trouble without thinking things through, but really I think all comparisons pretty much end there.
I'm not entirely sure why I'm posting here, especially as it's an old thread, but while it's around in case it gets locked . . .
To show some positivity (without touching on the original post), I had two friends round last night. One of them has bought episode 1 - 3 of Season 2, so I popped Episode 5, Chapter 4 on where the ice cracks and played it through to the end to show him what happens.
My previous thoughts have been that choices don't matter and they don't really, outside of relationship and dialogue changes (other minor variations), 'which is understandable'. But I was surprised at how much the dialog referenced your past choices. It stood out to me with playing it again and what probably helped it do so was I chose to try and save Luke this time rather than cover him, so I didn't get the cold treatment from Bonnie. Then there was the conversations with Kenny.
Anyhow, just wanted to add a bit of positivity. The devs/writers could be forgiven for thinking they did nothing right, as I'm sure that's how it can feel at times.
PS: Wondering if I'll find the same should I go through Wolf again. It's mighty tempting as I need to something to do till GoT comes out anyway.

K to you as well I guess. It's not like either of us can really stop people from bumping the thread anyway so whatever.
Dude you seriously need to lower your impossibly high standards cuz I thought season 2 was pure gold....
I mean no malice with this comment but I feel like I´m on tumblr.
Well...that was...

Indeed, plus Nick showed more willingness to own up to his mistakes. He does take some nudging, but he seems more mature than Ben on that front.

I have high hopes for Season 3 either way because I'm a hopeless optimist
