I imagine this has been asked a lot and if it has I'm sorry but I was wondering if anyone had any idea, even a rough idea when walking dead season 3 may come out? Will there even be one?

    Probably October next year. Telltale are releasing Tales From The Borderlands and Game Of Thrones right now and they should be done with releasing them in the summer 2015. So I think next year we will have The Walking Dead Season 3 and The Wolf Among Us Season 2 :)

    Consider the following:

    1. The gap between Season 1 and Season 2, it was about 13 months (November 2012 - December 2013), but that was without Telltale focused on two other games, the only thing they released during that time period was Poker Night 2 and the first episode of TWAU.

    2. Now they have GOT and TFTBL, which will probably be released by bi-monthly with the last episode being released a month after the previous episode for each series.

    3. Now TFTBL is 5 episodes, if they follow the bi-monthly idea as stated above, then it should end around June/July, 2015.

    4. Now GOT is 6 episodes, if they follow the bi-monthly idea, it will end around September, 2015.
    5. The gap between the end of TWD and the start of these two games was a little over 3 months (hopefully they won't do that again, but it's still a factor of production).

    After considering the points stated above, by my prediction, we could have the game as early as late September/early October, 2015, but the more likely release date, as a result of GOT running longer and a possible 3 month gap in between games, would be January, 2016.

    Yeah, there has been one announced, but it won't come anytime soon. Fall or Winter 2015 would be my guess.
