I am not saying i don't want the baby to survive, i just don't think it will and from the track record TTG has had, their is not much that can change my mind except seeing him alive through S3.
If Sarah lived it would of been really cool to see how she changes over 2-3.
You think AJ will magically survive? Babies die in today's world because of various health problems that they can catch, or develop in the first few years of life. Now a child with no medical, no food, nothing is going to live?

Yeah right.

I hate him not because he's a baby, but because he will most likely die mid-season and cause Clem to go in to sever depression, and I honestly don't think Clem can take the lost of a loved again. At less mentally that is. That lass has already been through enough!
P.S Sorry if my OP came off as being vile. I mean no offence to any babies out there. : (

I agree with you 100%. Having Clementine be responsible for this baby will be cruel.

I brought this point up like maybe a couple months ago. When AJ dies it will be emotional torture for Clementine. To give a 11 year old that responsibility is moronic and abusive in my opinion.

Depends.
If he's in Wellington and Howe's, he stands a chance of living a few months.
With an unstable, one-eyed man who's liable to b… moreite off more than he can chew? Out in the wilderness? A few weeks at best.
And he's dead in the ending where Clem's alone.
I definitely agree with you. I've always seen the cabin group as bad people. First one's obviously Carlos for noticing the dog bite but trying to let her die in the shed, then Rebecca for wanting to straight up kill Clem. Nick was fucking lost and almost killed Clem - I understand he's fragile and all but come on... Alvin didn't seem to agree with the others but he shut up because he was a coward. Pete seemed decent but wanting to cutt Clem's arm and then not being able to cut his leg because he's afraid of the pain... what? Then we have Luke who seems to be the leader of the group but it also looks like he doesn't care that much until he got to know Clem a little more.
Carver wasn't wrong when he said they were weak men, their group was gonna fall appart no matter what anyway.
Honestly I'd have loved to see everyone die but Sarah and Clem at the end of s2 (or at least Kenny and Luke should've been determinant). As CrazyGeorge said, we could've seen her evolve and mature through Season 3. I'm pretty sure that'd have been a great thing rather than having a walking dead baby.
Also the shooting between Episode 4-5 was not dramatic enough... I expected someone to die at least, I expected that to be quite painful and sad to watch but in the end it was just like: HEHE random shooting ending in about 30 seconds with no casualties on your group - forgotten after 5 mins.
Don't get me wrong, I like S2 but some things could've been handled better IMO.
A.J. was such a shitty plot device, I actively scorned him and wished upon his death.
I remember, and i agree. Why would i care abou… moret plot device, whose mother wanted me dead, and father didn't care what happened to me, just a week ago. The logic makes absolutely no sense, they just locked me in a shed, and wanted to cut off my arm, now we are best friends again?
Fuck that.
and having one shoved down my throat to get me to care for his safety because "it's a baby" was bringing my laughs to tears.
I know i felt the same way. I can't force feelings that aren't there. In my mind subconsciously i think to myself, this baby is going to die, why would i get emotionally invested in it. I wouldn't.
To be fair, Pete wasn't afraid of the pain, he was afraid of bleeding out ("I'd bleed out like a stuck pig"). I mean, you're stuck in a truck, god knows how far from the cabin, and have no real supplies to fashion a tourniquet out of, or any other medical supplies to help stop the bleeding. Clementine obviously can't carry him back to the cabin on her own, and there's a high chance he'd lose too much blood before she could even make it back to the cabin, let alone bring Carlos and the rest back to the truck. It was honestly a lose-lose situation for him.

Killing off yet another baby off-screen will be a pretty dumb move on Telltale's part, though. It'd become a running joke - maybe we'll see THREE babies die in Season 3.
children don't start talking until at least five years old to where you can kind of understand them.
ehhh It depends on the baby, to be honest. I started talking at 7 months (not full sentences obviously) and could talk almost fluently at three. But like I said, it depends on the baby.
look you think sarah would survive she isnt a survivor her very presecne was a danger to the group like a girl who freaks out evry 5 seconds was gonna survive yeah right

Yeah right.
I don't think he will get omided. But I do believe that he won't be in S3 for long. A 11 years old can't really take care of a newborn baby, so maybe we'll encounter another pregnant woman to take care of him... That's just my guess anyways.
But if you are right and something horrible does happen to him for the "feel/shock factor", I'll probably feel like a heartless bastard for not being even a little bit sad.
And there's always the kidnapping scenario where we go on an epic journey to get him back which I hope will NEVER happen. Saving someone I don't even like would be so frustrating.
As for AJ, well I don't really feel anything for him.
Exactly the baby was nothing more than a plot device in S2.
if they mana… morege to make me like AJ during S3 I will be very impressed and will recognize I misjudged him.
I believe, they will Omid him i think, i don't believe they would ruin Clementine's character to elevate AJ's. They might though so who knows. I really hope not. Clementine is the only female protagonist i like in video games. S2 really killed a lot of that love.

Based on TTG past choices, i just feel the baby is going to die in the beginning in the game. Look at how quickly they killed Sarah's determinant character. Same episode.
TTG is known for the easy way out. I think he will just end up dying from freezing to death five minutes in but we will see.
And there's always the kidnapping scenario where we go on an epic journey to get him back which I hope will NEVER happen. Saving someone I don't even like would be so frustrating.
I would laugh so hard if they did this, like Joker laugh. I lost my mind at this point.

Well my nephew is four and i can sort of understand him so i was using that as a comparison. it takes a lot of effort though to translate chip munk.

I think Sarah had a lot of room for character advancement yes. I also think that the plot device has zero. It didn't have to be Sarah it could of been anyone, i was using her as a example vs the baby. Understand?

Dies Omid style? Why can't he just die a few episodes into the story?

I know right! Its like TTG enjoys torturing characters like Clem, and Kenny.
