Would you like to see more races, ethnic groups and nationalities.

I'm Asian and I feel alone after Glenn and Vince's death :(. Omid is a "Persian". I look a lot like him don't ask me why. And for the first time Russians were introduced in the story but I'd like to see other Ethnic Groups enter the story.

  • I'm sure Telltale will add more nationalities into the game. I think that's one of the things that really makes this game stand out is how diverse the cast is. So, yeah there will probably be characters with nationalities that haven't been included in season 3.

  • actually i would like that haha. i mean shit, i dont want to sound racist but im tired of seeing only black and white people being the survivors. yeah glenn is in the show but he is the only one that is not white or black. also im sick of all the black people dying first too lol. but no latinos, no asians, no europeans, i dont count the russians since they were just villians, not carribean , or africans, or any other "race" or nationality".

  • I don't know why, but I'd really like to see a paraplegic character. It'd be an interesting and unique perspective, and toss the "survival of the fittest" mentality on it's head a little bit

  • I feel the Irish haven't been represented enough.

  • Antarctican people pls

  • As a 15 year old gay male from Ireland, I'd like to see an Irish character I'm the story. I feel like Ireland is barely represented in games, and it could work since people emigrated to America from Ireland to one point.

I don't really care or mind as long as it isn't forced in. What I mean by that is if the group has 10 people, I don't want all ten people to each be unique ethnicity culture special snowflakes. If the game takes place in US, the characters should predominantly be white Americans. There's multicultural representation, and there's purposely forcing in a million different nationalities in just for 'diversity'.

  • People need to consider this game seems to be based in America. So your gonna see more races from America.
Which would mostly be, white, black and Hispanic.

Also to have a paraplegic main character, from what i've seen from the two seasons i have played, would be dead pretty fast.
This is a world of survival, slow people(mentally and physically) will most likely be the ones to die fast.

The plague and the undead do not care about color, sex or disability. Just killing.

This made me think of this (Referring to the first half, and despite the title it's in English). Not to be critical to you, but The Walking Dead is already pretty diverse. There are black protagonists, homosexual characters, Hispanic characters, East Asian characters, an Indian character, a Middle Eastern character, a Brazilian character (or maybe Portuguese, but in American I'm going to guess Brazilian), etc. Plus for whatever reason they managed to run into a group of Russian immigrants in the middle of Ohio - not just one character, a group of them. Maybe a random spy cell. Because that actually happened. Speaking of which, Arvo is sort of disabled, and if you count amputees there's Reggie and even an amputee protagonist (determinate). I'm just saying, Telltale isn't really want for diversity, and in a country that is still a majority white, after a while it almost becomes unbelievable the other way.

Roberto (The thief they catch in 400 Days who can't speak English) He's speaking Portuguese, but I'm not sure if it's Portuguese Portuguese or Brazilian Portuguese.

  • Well it IS the American South, so it makes sense for there to be more whites and blacks than Asians. I've never felt like any groups were underrepresented. Hell, Kenny's new group had an Indian lady and two gay guys, one of whom was asian.

  • I've yet to see a British character in the Walking Dead. Would like to see one joke about the 'walkers' being called 'runners' because of 28 Days Later.

British Actors on the other hand...

  • i dont feel like anybody else has been represented enough lol only white and black people... again not trying to sound racist but cmon only them??

Sure! Why not? America is supposed to be a melting pot of cultures. :)

  • Wait, you're a 15 year old, gay male from Ireland... OH MY GOD, JAMMY IS THAT YOU!?

As a 15 year old gay male from Ireland, I'd like to see an Irish character I'm the story. I feel like Ireland is barely represented in games, and it could work since people emigrated to America from Ireland to one point.

  • I would like to see more different kinds of people too. A British or German character could be good.

  • Also I don't think Italians have had enough of a presence. Not just in the game but as The Walking Dead in general.

  • Well, it does take place in America, which immigrant's population is mainly Hispanic, so the chances are very slim. The Russians showing up made no sense to me because why would they be in America, all in a little group. And the most Irish don't live in the South, they live in New York and more northern states. I can understand why you want it, but I don't expect it.

  • I agree. People need to realize that almost 2/3 of the people in America are white, and only like less than 2 percent are homosexual. It irks me that there is a lack of Hispanic characters, as they made up around 16% of the population. What's even more annoying is the lack of women, as they make up 51% of the population, even though it's somewhat understandable, since men are usually stronger than women, and in a ZA men probably have a better shot.

Even though this is slim, since they make up less than1% of the population, I kinda want some veterans, like Larry, because I feel their training and background is fascinating.

And I don't mean offend anyone, just throwing that out there.

  • I was actually thinking of a topic like this earlier today so I'll give my input the way I think about adding diversity during a ZA.

    First 2 quotes!
"I occasionally think how quickly our differences, worldwide, would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world"
    Ronald Reagan

"You're either living or you're not. You ain't little, you ain't a girl, you ain't a boy, you ain't strong or smart, you're alive."
    Chuck (Charles if your fancy)

Both of these quote's generally mean the same thing. It doesn't matter what someone's race is, or sexuality or ethnic backround. None of it matters a single bit during a ZA. Zombie's don't care, bandit's don't care, a starving person who need's what you have doesn't care what your race, ethnicity or sexual preference is.

I have absolutely no objection at all to Telltale including any sort of character's, add them all, make them as diverse as they wish, but in the end it simply doesn't matter. They are just human being's trying to survive and that alone should be the focus.

  • I can see people talking about how Asians, Irish, Scottish, Swedish, etc. But let's not forget about Australians, New Zealanders, people from the Philippines, Samoans, English people, Italians, etc.

  • I've looked through the beginning of the episode, I didn't see it one bit. Unless you can see for yourself, take a screenshot and post it here, I'll be more than happy to admit I'm wrong.

Native Americas that lived off the land before the outbreak would make for a powerful group.

  • IF vince even ended up at howes

  • people spend so much time worrying about a race not being or being portrayed in video games its ridiculous.
