Well I think she would be happy since she can say that she liked school and it's a dialogue option in No Going Back to have her say that she wishes she can go back to school again one day.

It's essential if you want to rebuild any form of society (like Alexandria, Wellington, and such).
But yea, schools within outposts would do well to teach survival as well as "mainstream curriculum" stuff.
