Second half of The Walking Dead Season 5
AMC posted this video on their Youtube channel today where cast and crew discussed what to expect in the second half of Season 5.

Some important takeaways are that Gimple says that there's going to be a change and someone (I believe it's Danai) says that the second half is going to get a whole lot darker.

Honestly I think they do. Tyreese is supposed to be a character everyone loves, but the writers make him out to be a big baby(maybe baby isn't the right word. Extreme pacifist?)

While on the topic on the second half of the season. Does anyone have any death predictions for the rest of the season?
I think there's a 25% chance Daryl dies. Depends if the writers skip alot of stuff and bring Negan in early(I fully expect that Negan will kill Daryl whenever he shows up)
30% chance Carol dies. At the beginning of the season i fully expected Carol to die, but seeing as how she made it safely past the hospital arc I think she will definitely live.
I think 100% chance that etheir Glenn or Maggie will die.(Honestly their relationship has really went as far as it will go and is really boring now and I think Maggie may kill herself because of the Beth situation.)
Rick, Carl, and Michonne are 100% safe.
I'm about 90% sure Sasha will die. Just call it a hunch Plus maybe her death will be the thing that stops Tyreese from being such a pacifist.
I give Tyreese a 50% chance of dying(Unless he changes, his pacifist nature will be his demise
I give Gabriel a 25% chance of dying(I don't think they will kill him. But, who knows Kirkman has retconned things from the comics before)
85% chance Tara dies(I really think she is going to be the Carol from the comics. Or somewhat anyways based on her relationship with Glenn and Maggie)
0% chance Abraham, Eugene or Rosita dies (those are pretty big characters in the comics and I just can't see them dying.)

I guess the writers are trying to make him the incredible hulk. His anger gives him strength.
It's not xenophobia, its to do with the fact that there's not a legal way of viewing the show in most countries apart from America.
Hence, anyone who would be interested in this video and not in america either broke the law to watch it or wants to spoil themself, and I can see why AMC would want to limit both.
Well technically he did kind of do that in Season 4 Episode 3 when they were going to get medicine for the people who had the flu back at the prison. After he got out of the car, he was surrounded by walkers and fought his way out with a hammer.
I definitely think that either Glenn or Maggie will die, most likely Glenn. I feel Maggie will try to kill herself like in the comics but fail and, if they do introduce Negan, Glenn will be killed by him in the last episode of the season (kind of making the first scene in the first episode a foreshadowing of what will happen to Glenn later since that's how he dies in the comics). Carol and Tyreese will most likely die, Sasha, if they keep going down this path of making her the comic Andrea, will not die. Gabriel, Eugene, and Rosita will live, but Abraham may or may not die, since he dies in the comics before Glenn. And, of course, Rick, Carl, Michonne, and Daryl will live.

I'm sure Tyreese will be killed by Negan. His character is no longer interesting. I do agree that Glenn and Maggie's relationship has grown stale, but I doubt they will be broken up by one of them being killed till next season
As long as they don't cave into those stupid "Bring Beth Back" petitions I think the second half of the season will be great.
They won't, it's pretty hard to reverse getting shot directly in the forehead and have them live through it. Honestly though, I didn't realize Beth had this much of a following. I could expect this if they killed Daryl, but Beth?

i really do hope that negan kills daryl the reason negan's introduction was so good was the fact that he killed a fan favourite and tbh that guy he killed in the comics is not a fan favorite in the show at all by the looks of it
umm what? channels outside of the us do air twd you know like we have it on fx in australia and with most other countries having fox air it in fact here are all of the countries outside of america that have a channel that airs it

Well people do love "him" in the show, but not nearly as much as people love "him" in the comics. And I agree, I prefer his comic book counterpart to the show's.

Agreed. Daryl is the most overrated character in the show. He needs to die, but it has to be a good death. I think the main reason people are mad about Beth's death is that it was really stupid.
