Your favourite scene in the Walking Dead Season 2?

Killing Carver: despite my profile name, it was so satisfying to watch that guy die, especially in that way. I'd include a video but unfortunately I don't know how to include a video. Anyone know how :p?

  • My favourite was the campfire scene in episode 5, its one of the only scenes that actually makes me feel happy. I liked Kenny and Jane's fight too, that was intense.

When you confront Walter about Mathew's fate, the tension was really thick and it was well executed, especially Nick's (determinant) apology to Walter.

When you first meet Arvo, it's just so random and it really begins to set up a good choice, with positives and negatives on both sides about whether or not to steal from him, too bad it doesn't change much, but it was still a good set up for a choice.

  • Thank goodness, I thought I was the only one who got this scene in my game.

So many, in no random order

    1. Dinner scene with Luke in first episode where Clem talks about the events of Season 1 and about Lee
    2. Talking to Carver in the cabin.
    3. Meeting Kenny
    4. Carver/Clementine conversation in his office
    5. Kenny killing Carver
    6. Campfire scene
    7. Kenny and Clem conversation at transformer
    8. Lee dream
    9. Both Kenny endings.
  • All of those, plus a hostage scene at the lodge.

  • mine was easily when Clementine met Kenny at the lodge again, both of their faces are completely shocked and both Clementine and Kenny got a happy moment in a world filled with zombies, doesn't happen too often

    • Luke saving Clem's ass
    • Walking to the river with Pete
    • The Ski Lodge, before and after Carver shows up
    • Kenny waking up
    • When Troy gets killed. Always good for a laugh. ("She shot my dick off!?")
    • When AJ gets born. The shock of, "is he ok?" was pretty good.
    • The shootout, before E5.
    • The campfire
    • Mourning Luke
    • Seeing Lee again
    • And of course, the final battle
  • The scene where you talk with Kenny while you're trying to get him to re-join the group. I thought it was a very emotional and heartfelt moment.

  • The start scene of EP 2

  • In no particular order:

    • Reuniting with Kenny
    • Both Kenny endings
    • Carver's death
    • Troy's death
    • Lee dream scene
    • Campfire
    • Dinner with Luke and telling him the events of Season 1
    • Convincing Kenny to rejoin the group
  • Just a few of my faves.

  • I also liked the Carver/Clementine scenes because it seemed like it was setting up for a "Are you gonna be like Carver or choose a different path". It was interesting.

But the campfire scene was so peaceful and I appreciated it exactly because I knew it wouldn't last. Then we all know what happened.

    still damn bitter

  • The campfire scene was my favorite because it was one of the only uplifting scene's in the game.

  • Not if you look real close at it, you'll find out it's just as depressing as the rest of the game. I point to the signs that are behind Luke and Bonnie. Look at what they say, "Danger," "Warning," and "Danger of death." Foreshadowing much.

  • You watched Gaming Sins video too?

  • Not only that, I'm the one who created the thread here on the forums about the video.

  • The most intense scene was the scene where Carver was holding the group hostage with Kenny sniping him. Carver's intelligence vs Kenny's impulsiveness.

  • Meeting up with Kenny at the lodge. I always hug him, I can't not do it.

Ironically, leaving Kenny and going into Wellington. Clem and AJ are safe, and Kenny has finally managed to protect someone he cares about.

  • Same.

  • Campfire scene.

  • Larry's death was fun, but it was over too fast. I like a death that lingers.

  • I find myself not being able to eat dinner with the cabin group. I really want to see what happens if I do but I too find myself in that kind of spot, I just can't not eat dinner with Kenny.

  • Kenny ending and choosing to go into Wellington. So well done, it made me cry like a bitch.

  • Leave Kenny and staying at Wellington (which I didn't do, btw) is by far the saddest scene in the season, even more than killing him. The way he says "I'm not gonna look back, not because I don't want to..." just breaks me every time I watch it. You get the feeling that he has nothing left to live for and you're never gonna see him again (personally, I imagine if you leave him and stay at Wellington he'll go off and kill himself). One the saddest scenes in the game, and (arguably) maybe sadder than Lee's death.

  • Exactly. Saddest scene in the entire Walking Dead series, probably on a par with Lee's death.

  • By episode:

Episode 1: Wandering around the camp-site with the dog. It really sets the mood for how alone Clem is, how estranged she's become from the trappings of family, and the sudden whiplash of the dog turning brutal emphasizes how untrustworthy anyone can be.

Episode 2: A split between convincing Walter to forgive Nick and the entire hostage situation. [Save Alvin] was probably one of the most heroic things Clem did this season.

Episode 3: Kenny's beat-down. The sinister music was perfect.

    Episode 4: Robbing Arvo.

    Episode 5: Luke's death.

I guess my food and nutrition teacher was right when she said too much salt can kill you.
