Yeah, she is very two-faced. But that's what makes her such an interesting (and rather unpredictable) character. I think that ultimately, she didn't really want to hurt anyone and really wanted the best for all even though she kept making crappy choices.
Well to start with Bonnie is player controlled so only you can choose whether you flirt Leland, for me Bonnie was the most two faced character in S2. She promises to Clem that she would never betray her again and she does.
I'd rather be with Bonnie than Mike. Yeah, she's far less predictable and even stable but I get the feeling that she does care for Clementine, whereas Mike seems indifferent about her.
If I had the choose to keep them both, turn away Mike/Bonny or turn both of them away, I would stick with Mike, fuck Bonnie she can die.
… moreI've liked since the beginning we met, I didn't go to him when he was trying to sleep so he was never really a dick to me, only when I encouraged kenny to kill Arvo and he got a bit mad at me
I like Mike, and feel like he is a person really trying to do the right thing, and things just get too messed up. He totally came off as like, the protagonist of a different game to me. The choices he makes felt to me like the choices another telltale protagonist would be forced to make. I think he messed up, and I think he put his sympathy for Arvo ahead of the good of the group, but I understand why, and empathise.
Bonnie though, I really, really didn't like to begin with. The way she tried to ingratiate herself towards you after the events of the previous episode just made me mad, and I just kept totally silent with her, and only did as much as I was instructed. Afterwards, I felt bad for her and warmed to her.
However, like, after the event collecting the water, she promises she'll never make you do something like that again.
And then she puts you in the exact same situation when she asks you, a child to try and save Luke on the ice.
My personal take on her was that she's kind of a selfish person. She tries to ingratiate herself to you because she wants to feel forgiven for all the deaths caused by leading Carver to Kenny's community. She pays lip service to never putting you in harm's way again, but when it's someone she cares about, she does it again without thinking.
I think her character arc is kind of this tension in a person who wants to try to do the right thing, but is also kind of a selfish person, and in the end, it's kind of the selfish part that wins.
Noticing how clueless and helpless most of the adult characters are in this game;such as, when Dr.Carlos couldn't tell a dog bite from a human bite, Jane eating glass, Bonnie not knowing that Carver was crazy. This group make some strange decisions.
Jane was Clementine's age when she ate the glass, and was completely drunk out of her mind when she did it and wasn't thinking straight. Bonnie not seeing who Carver was wasn't stupidity, but just overall being way too gullible and forgiving. But Carlos is definitely stupid.

You and I were kind of similar with Bonnie. I never trusted her and remained silent with her as much as I could. I even agree that she really wasn't a "bad" person, just taking sides or doing what she has to in order to survive. But that does make her un-trustworthy. I wouldn't expect her to pull a gun on Clem, but it didn't surprise me at all to see her taking the supplies and leave the group.
Killing Dee in 400 Day's was an accident, being with Carver was because of the promise of safety by Tavia, leaving Carver was because she realized how dangerous he was, leaving our group was because she felt Kenny was a danger, and I can understand having to make changes just to survive. Is it selfish to want to survive? I don't think so.
Having Clem reach in to unlock the door for the water, seem'd reasonable because Clem was the smallest, and neither Bonnie nor Clem really looked very well first.. Telling Clem to save Luke was kinda reasonable because Clem was the lightest, but then it would have been better for Bonnie to think of Clem's safety first. Overall, Bonnie may have done selfish thing's but really, who wouldn't when trying to survive?
So yeah, I never really trusted her and I never got too close to Mike so for me, they don't mean anything. Bonnie drowned in my play through so really she doesn't matter.
In my ending, I went with Jane to Howes and did not let the family in.. If in Season 3, Mike and Arvo showed up and wanted in, I would shoot Arvo in the heart so he comes back and let him exist as a walker watch dog.. Mike can leave!

I was surprised at other's people's play throughs when even if they cover Luke an Bonnie falls through the ice, I've seen her climb out. I didn't know she could survive that.
Oh no doubt, but that's who Bonnie is, a gullible, forgiving piece of shit who deserves what she will have coming to her if we ever see her, Mike, and Arvo again.
I wouldn't kill them but I wouldn't accommodate them either. They would have to make a grand gesture to earn my trust again, especially Bonnie - Luke's death wasn't my fault!
i COULD forgive bonnie, cause she doesnt seem like a bad person, but the fact that mike wasnt even thinking about clem and the baby shows how stupid and egh he is
In my playthrough, Bonnie is a walker at the bottom of an ice lake, I let her drown. Good fucking riddance.
But to answer your question, will I accept them with open arms? Fuck to the no. Mike and Arvo are the one's on my shitlist as of now, and once I get the chance to kill them both, you better believe that's whats going to happen.
Even though Mike didn't shoot Clementine, I still hold him at partial blame. Had he not gave Arvo a gun, Clementine would have not been shot.
My Clementine isn't the same, and well, she's not going to forgive the fucker who shot her, nor is she going to forgive the asshole who gave that fucker the gun in the first place. Not to mention, they planned to rob us and leave, KNOWING we had a baby with us. So my point rests, Mike and Arvo, you can run, but you CAN'T hide.
Mike was too fond of Arvo, I know Kenny was quite rough with him, but Kenny was right all along about Arvo. I wouldn't kill them, but I can understand why people would and if they don't leave peacefully, they are going to wish they had.

To be honest I think she abandoned Clem only because Kenny was on his way and she knew he would help her and if she stayed she would've been in one hell along side Kenny with no Clementine to stop him, let's be honest.

Forgot what Lord Whitehill said? With bread and salt.

If only this happened in the actual game.
If only.
I wouldn't kill 'em on sight, but I also wouldn't want to keep them around.
I think they would check before shooting her.
Talk like civilized people.

Give me predictable Mike any day of the week, if Bonnie cared about Clem she wouldn't have ran off with the supplies.
Carlos probably got his degree online.

I would say Bonnie excessively overlooked what Carver did.
Wut?
You know, when she was pretending to be looking for supplies, but was actually scouting out the place for Carver. I think I got the details right? :¬\

I'm angry at them for taking off with all our food and supplies, but I still kinda have hope for them. Maybe I'd let them stick around.
I wouldn't kill them but I wouldn't accommodate them either. They would have to make a grand gesture to earn my trust again, especially Bonnie - Luke's death wasn't my fault!
Bonnie did more wrong than Mike.
Then shoot Arvo.

Shoot Arvo and Bonnie. And what will I do with mike? He's dead too.
Mike was too fond of Arvo, I know Kenny was quite rough with him, but Kenny was right all along about Arvo. I wouldn't kill them, but I can understand why people would and if they don't leave peacefully, they are going to wish they had.
I completely agree with you.
What the hell dude
If they did come back I would welcome them back as friends but not trust them like I did.
I like Bonnie so I could forgive her since she was the only one who cared when Clem got shot. She is a nice girl who makes all the bad decisions.
Bonnie was scared of Kenny, she is very predictable. She got scared and ran away, that is what cowards do.
I'll kill Bonnie quick, she seemed to care when Clem was shot, but she ultimately abandoned her.
Mike though... pass me Kenny's crowbar...
Dude thats just brutal.
Save the crowbar for Arvo, he deserves a brutal death. Mike deserves to die too, but I'd make his death quick just to get it over with.
To be honest I think she abandoned Clem only because Kenny was on his way and she knew he would help her and if she stayed she would've been in one hell along side Kenny with no Clementine to stop him, let's be honest.
