And why is that? I mean, why it would need to be the end for Clementine? I mean, yes it's possible but I just don't know why are you think that way. Also it doesn't make sense in my opinion. If they will make more then 3 seasons then Clementine will be there in some way (as protagonist or not). Why? Because Kirkman and TV series focus on one specific group of survivors and so does Telltale's The Walking Dead. So I doubt that they'll create a whole new story. If season 3 will be the end of Clementine's story then we won't see any more seasons. At least that what I think.
If they did do more than 3 seasons for TWD, subsequent seasons would have to involve a new storyline and characters. In other words, Season 3 is the end of Clementine's story (not saying she'll die, just we'll stop focusing on her story).
Ok, I think you may have misinterpreted me a little bit. Let me try to clarify my thoughts. No offense to you btw. You're free to disagree with me, I just think you might have misinterpreted what I wrote, so I restating my thoughts hoping to clarify myself. If we're going to disagree, we might as well disagree with correct interpretations of each other. lol
I don't see Clementine as a PC past season 3, thus consequently, I do not see her story as being the main focus. I say that because I feel like her character will get worn out past a third season, especially if her character is the PC for season 3. In regards to what you said, yes, Kirkman's story focuses on a specific group of survivors. However, TellTale's series hasn't. There have been a total of 2 groups and 2 PC throughout the 2 seasons. In the comics and TV show, they can focus on multiple characters, thus reducing character fatigue in a way. It's hard to do this through TellTale's games since all actions are though the eyes of only one character (Tales From The Boarderlands and Game of Thrones have broken this model with their multi-perspective gameplay).
Now, I'm not saying Clem won't exist, or that she will not be present. She could be a supporting character, but the perspective for the next few seasons would have to come through the eyes of another PC. Maybe that's what I should have said originally: future season past season 3 of TWD will come through the eyes of another PC with Clementine playing a more deuteragonist/supporting character role. I just feel like if TellTale goes at it for too long, playing through Clementine's eyes, no matter how much she grows, will get boring.
This is just how I personally feel about it. I would think differently if this was comic, book, or TV show with an entire supporting cast. Since we don't have that (at least yet) with TellTales The Walking Dead Game, I fell this would be the more logical move.

Yeah, I misudnerstand a little but you too a little. I said something about a specific group of survivors, yes, but what I meant is that both game and comicc/tv show focus on specific group of survivors with multiple new characters and a few of old ones. What I meant is that there will always be some new characters in every season or even episode but every season of tv show and game (also in comics) there are always a main characters of the story which won't be abandoned. They story will end in case of their deaths probably (like Rick, Carl, Michonne, Maggie, etc.)
You're right - Clementine might not always be a PC but I think we'll see her in some way in every seasons. At least if she'll be still alive. Why? Because Telltale created her first. She was their very first idea and after 2 seasons she's the only known survivor of original group from Macon so it must mean something. Not that she'll be always a PC but she'll always appear in some way.

Hi,
I am wondering if and when The Walking Dead will have a season 3 and when it will be released. Season 2 started this time last year.
Just wondering.
The Walking Dead Season 3 is confirmed and I've heard the first episode will be released sometime next year, That's all the confirmed information we have heard so far.
Not much information has been released by Telltale other than Season 3's confirmation. There will be a Season 3, but no one knows when it will be released or what it's even about, whether it will continue Clem's story or not (it most likely will, but there hasn't been a confirmation on that). All we know is that they have definitely started working on Season 3 since Robert Kirkman said in an IGN interview that he has been contacted by Telltale about possible story ideas, which means they are in the early process of writing it.
My guess, Season 3 will come out in either late 2015 or early 2016. It all depends on how long Telltale takes to make their Minecraft game, since it seems that will be released alongside Season 3 of The Walking Dead.
Some of you guys should really check out Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones. Not only are they great games so far but they will help pass the time till S3.
These games are incredible and amazing. I just can not find the words to say which Telltale big fellows!
Never doubt it!
But, unfortunately, they are not to my taste. I love only "TWD". Love forever!
But it looks like I've found a new project that will interest me.
"Life Is Strange" This is a new 5-episodic game from the studio Dontnod Entertainment Games with company Square Enix.
It will be available on January 30!
Life is Strange is a five part episodic game that sets out to revolutionise story based choice and consequence games by allowing the player to rewind time and affect the past, present and future. You are Max, a photography senior who saves her old friend Chloe by discovering she can rewind time. The pair soon find themselves exposed to the darker side of Arcadia Bay as they uncover the disturbing truth behind the sudden disappearance of a fellow student. Meanwhile, Max begins to have premonitions as she struggles to understand the implications of her power. She must quickly learn that changing the past can sometimes lead to a devastating future.
A beautifully written modern adventure game.
Rewind time to change the course of events.
Multiple endings depending on the choices you make.

When I first discovered this game it immediately reminded me of Telltale. It's incredible to see how they have inspired other game developers in the industry. Hopefully, we'll have more games like this in the future, games that have a solid scenario and interesting characters. Concerning this game, I can't wait to play it!

I wouldn't get your hopes up for Season Three, despite the so called confirmation. Here is why I say that.
Telltale have games on the go at this moment in time, plus this ridiculous Minecraft rubbish they seem hellbent on doing.
With all that going on, there is no way telltale will be able to find the resources to invest in Season Three.
Especially when this Minecraft project fails. Which it will. Everyone can see that apart from telltale it seems, but let them carry on with their heads in the sand and we will see who gets proven correct.
Problem is when it fails telltale won't have the money to finance Season Three, so there's another reason it won't happen.
You see, the culprit here is the invincibly syndrome. Telltale have made some fantastic games, no doubt about it. Thing is, they now believe they can't make a mistake and the sun shines out their ar*e. Wrong!
Sooner rather than later, telltale are going to realise this and wonder what the hell happened.
When that Minecraft rubbish is finally released, watch what happens.

And if it doesn't, you will look like a complete moron.
People complained that TWD wouldn't work for Telltale, and it won Game of the Year
People complained that Wolf Among Us would get in the way and be stupid, and it's got gotten a relatively positive reception.
People complained that Tales from the Borderlands was a stupid idea, and the first episode has gotten people eating it up.
So, the best thing to do is wait and see, instead of acting like a child and claiming that it's going to fail, when you haven't even seen a damn screenshot or trailer.

Sorry, but remember how Tales from the Borderlands was promised to premiere Summer 2014? I'd say best guess is November or December 2015 for S3's premiere.
But Telltale did keep their promise with Game of Thrones' premiere so you could be right.

Season 3 was confirmed back in July and the release date is for now unknown though it's safe to assume that it will be released during fall 2015.
Ah-hah! You are disclosed, Crips!

There will be a lot of coffee and donuts time between now and season 3
