Oh, yeah, definitely, but I meant like in the time frame the game takes place. Unless they started gettin' handsy in that cot next to Clem at Howe's, I doubt there was much time for them to get anything on.
It sucks Pete got killed off so soon, I think I can safely say that he would have gone on to be one of my favourite characters. I think he also would have been the voice of reason within the group.
I liked him, imperfections and all. I liked how he tried to include Clem as part of the group in the earlier episodes when most of the other… mores hadn't quite regarded her as 'one of them' yet and the lengths he could go to try and save his 'family'. I can't imagine it's easy, taking on the role of leader, having that stress of responsibility bearing down, and trying to juggle that with being a friend -- and I think, looking back, he knows he could have been a better one. Circumstances didn't always allow for it, though. Just reminds me of what Pete said, a bit: 'sometimes you have to play a role even if others hate you for it".

Makes me curious to think how Pete would have dealt with the situation of leaving Howe's and sneaking out with the herd or hanging back and biding their time. Kenny has a forceful personality and I don't see him agreeing with Pete's reasoning unless it happens to align with his at the time.

If there's any thread I'm going to mark my return to this forum to, it would obviously have to be this one.
I'm still a little (read: ver… morey) bitter that they just killed him off for shock value when there was so much potential left for a third season with him. He could have been fleshed out even more, not to mention we could have had a little payoff for all the times we sided with him in an argument or built up some sort of trust/friendship with him.
Luke was my third favorite character in season 2. And after episode 3, I really thought that Luke was going to be the protagonist of season 3. Now I'm disapointed.

Wohoo a Luke appreciation thread! (I feel like he really needs one!) Luke was my favourite character from season 2 (not including Clementine) I loved that he was a nice guy and that he kept his humanity throughout the (2?) years of the apocalypse. It was sad to see him go but at least he had a heroic ending! His death to me felt like it was for shock value which sucks since I really wanted an ending with him, Clem and Aj:(
Other than that the only thing I can say is that I disliked some of the hate he received for making mistakes yet, earlier on in the season (pre episode 4 and maybe 3) a lot of the fandom thought he was too perfect and unrealistic. Sooooo basically people disliked that Luke was unrealistically 'perfect' and when he made a mistake in episode 4 they hated him for that... He couldn't win ey?:P

When we first met Luke he saved Clem's life so I immediately liked him, but I wasn't too sure how bright he was by several of his comment's.
Dropping Clem after seeing she was bitten was actually kinda funny, and a bit reasonable to suggest during a ZA. However, did he really think a living little girl like Clem would suddenly try to bite him or Pete? Ummmm dude, she's not a zombie.. The part about killing the dog.. ummm dude, really?!?!? you're going to give Clem grief about killing a dog that attacked her??? Come on man!
Luke did kinda disappear from the cabin when Carver showed up so that made me wonder about him, however, I feel it's reasonable to assume most people would hide to survive or not be captured by someone he knew was a threat. Maybe he wasn't much help at that time, but he was on the outside trying to help Clem and the other's escape from Carver, Luke did follow them back and risked himself for the other's.
Luke with Jane was a bit reckless and selfish at the moment because he was supposed to be on guard, he did put the others at risk but having that time with Jane was reasonable and not knowing if you are going to be alive at any moment, you have to take the opportunity as it comes.
Overall, I began to like Luke more and more though I did choose to sit with Kenny at the dinner table, and I felt Luke was very good for Clem, she could trust him and he would fight to protect her. In some play through's he died protecting her.
I would raise a glass and toast Luke's memory as one of the good one's, but for me, he'll never mean as much to MY Clem as Lee and Kenny!

Yeah, he thought he could have done and honestly, maybe he could have but, given the circumstances I think he did all he could, I mean he travelled a really far distance to try and rescue his friend, that's dedication!
Plus he didn't have a nights rest. I think his problem was he doubted himself, but he was dedicated. Not only must he have travelled but he must have ran almost all the way.

Luke will be remembered to me:) Hopefully to Clem too, although I think since she knew him for about a week she might forget about him:( Well, he did save her life (if you help him) so maybe she will remember him for that!

No, it isn't. I wish there was a couple of months time skip at some point. Maybe at Howe's it would have made sense because we end up trusting Mike, Bonnie and Jane after a day of knowing them.

Yea that would be awesome, to see what the bedrooms were like and for Walter and Sarita to have more development other than being plot devices. But instead we the whole Season ended up being almost a month.
Yeah, I think that was one of the things I felt was lacking in this season, character development. I think The Walking Dead is an excellent game but my only issue is that they kill pretty much all of the characters off by the end of the season, if not in that season then early in the next season. I would have loved to have more bonding time with each of the characters and actually have another character (other than just Clementine - don't get me wrong I want her to stay too) survive with Clementine and actually be a guardian to her.
Telltale could bring back Luke and make him her big brother figure - like he deserves to be;P

Well, Sherlock. How'd you figure that one out?
Off screen does also count for before we found Kenny and in that 16 month time gap, right?

There's no need to be that hostile.
I wasn't being hostile.
Comedic effect, my friend. If I was hostile, I'd be much worse.
Sorry if I offended you or something.
Sorry I guess i'm a bit touchy.
Love the Luke profile pick.
It was one of the only things i liked about S2.
I have got to admit, I would love to have had Luke for protaganist in S3.
He was a little cold to Clem to start with, when he thought she was bitten.
I think Kenny and Pete would have disagreed on a few things.
High five.
He and Clem were like the perfect match.

There's no winners in the apocalypse.
It's a saying, 'he couldn't win' basically means he couldn't do anything right

I know, I was kidding. I'm going to use a piece of music called 'No Winners' for a tribute video I'm doing soon, I was kinda referencing to that. :P
Ah okay sounds cool! Looking forward to watching it:)
For me Luke is up there with Lee and Kenny, the dinner table choice was pretty sad.
Yeah she's not!
Luke I'm your father
NOOOOOOOOOOOO
What would you give season 2 out of 10?
six at best
Luke is imperfectly perfect.
Yeah, he's a good guy and he tried his hardest but he is human, so he is flawed:)
Shame Luke didn't think he tried his hardest.

Luke will always be in my Clem's heart along with Lee and Kenny.
Yeah, true

She knew him for almost two weeks. Someone worked out that she knew him for 11 days.
Yeah, that's still not very long compared to season 1

Yeah or with the group at the Ski Lodge, I wish we could have stayed longer and had a look around; got to know Walter and Sarita better:)
