(PS4)Can't get past part in Season 1 Episode 4 due to glitch.
After you get the video tapes from the Walker/Doctor and the locker you should be able to open the Nurse station door to continue the story. But there is no action to open the door. this glitch is preventing me from completing Episode 4.

I recommend watching a video walkthrough of how to complete that particular part of the game, and make sure you are completing the proper steps to progress the storyline. If you are completing the steps successfully and you are still unable to progress, please also try rewinding to the chapter/checkpoint before your current chapter, and replay through the scene again, and see if you are then able to progress successfully.
I have the same exact problem. I have tried rewinding multiple times, I've done all I can do. The scenes are all messed up, characters have dialogue from other scenes. It's the only part of the game I ran into any issues. I can't play the game until this is resolved. I'd like a refund if no solution is available.
Already went seen several walkthroughs. Everything has been completed. Already tried rewinding several times.

If you have tried rewinding a few more times, and are still unable to successfully continue the episode, and would rather like to request a refund. Please contact Sony Support for further assistance with that particular request.
I stumbled upon the same bug on the Xbox One version...
I apologize for the inconvenience. Please try rewinding to a chapter/checkpoint before that particular scene, and see if you are then able to play through that part successfully. If you still experience the issue, I recommend rewinding another chapter/checkpoint back, and play through. My apologies for any difficulties this may cause you.

I'm having the same issue as well. This is a really annoying and awful bug. After getting the two tapes I can't get back in the room with vernon and christa. It is an absolute bug and not a matter of not playing the game properly. I am 100% sure. I'm completely blocked from going any further in the game. Just awful!!!
[Update...after a couple of rewinds it worked.] Still hard to believe this serious of a bug made it through test.
I sincerely apologize for any difficulties this has caused you. Can you please clarify if you were playing the game for a while before reaching that point (Had you completed a whole episode or more during the playthrough where you experienced the issue?), or did you begin playing and load a save right before getting to that point in Episode 4?
I am having the same problem as well. I was playing for a while from the beginning of episode four and when I came to the scene immediately following getting the battery, characters are standing in the hallway as ghosts with no interactions available specifically Molly and Brian and when I go back to the classroom nothing has changed. Back to the hallway again still same issue I can't proceed anywhere.cant help Kenny,can't help with the nurses station either I tried restarting the episode,rewinding restarting checkpoint nothing, still same issue
I can confirm the glitch in the Crawford chapter. Rewound a couple of times and it finally triggered the cut scene in the school. Started play from the very start of the game. This is the only glitch I have encountered so far.
My apologies, please also try rewinding to a few chapter/checkpoints before the area you became stuck, and then play through to that specific part of the episode again, and you should not experience the issue.

When I try to exit school it goes back to the cut scene where we come up through sewer a few mins earlier and gets stuck there with no way out of sewer. In chapter 1 when I picked up batteries it just constantly said I was still looking for them? Lots of bugs on ps4 version it seems
I have now stumbled across the same glitch. I have found the tape from the doctor and opened the locker for the second tape. I then went to the nurse room only not to have been given an option to open the door. I have walked around aimlessly but to no avail. I have really enjoyed this game on my PS4 and I am now really disappointed that this glitch has been known about for the PS4 for a while and yet this still has not been fixed. I have no option but to claim for a full refund and advise people not to buy this series as clearly you are wasting your money to play a game you cannot complete.
At this time, the workaround to the issue is rewinding to a few chapter/checkpoints before the area you became stuck, and then play through to that specific part of the episode again, and you should not experience the issue again. Again, my apologies for any difficulties this has caused you.
That's not really a very satisfactory solution though is it? Surely enough people have reported this issue for it to become a priority for a suitable update to fix it? I have also just encountered the same problem - found the 2 tapes and had no way of getting back into the nurses station. I googled it and this thread was the top hit in Google.....that means a LOT of searches on this topic. At the moment this is dissuading me from purchasing Season 2.
I just rewound to two scenes before Crawford and same sewer bug. Stuff this game to hell. I want a refund.

I have a problem when first in the Crawford school, everybody dissapears and there is no cut scene . After trying to exit the school the game loans back to where we are climbing up the stairs out of the sewer then glitches and freezes the game .
I have rewound the game 6 times and its still doing it.
Please fix, im a loyal customer that has bought this game on both ps3 and ps4
Can you please clarify how far you have tried rewinding back to? Also, can you please clarify what you mean by 'glitches and freezes the game'? Do you become stuck, does the screen turn black, or does the game crash?
And now I'm stuck after you get the battery from the shop with molly and now your back in the school well Kenny and michelle are standing outside of the glass doors to get to the playground not moving and Ben is standing on the other side of them again doing nothing but he's also in the classroom trying to get into the armory and molly is standing by the bathroom while Christa and Vernon are still trying to get into the nurses office there is no cut scene there's nothing I can do I have tried rewinding multiple times and nothing happens same thing every time I've even rewind back to episode 3 and played all the way back up to this point but still the same (this is the xbox one version if that helps) can we please get an update for this issue? On both ps4 and Xbox one? Soon maybe so we can all get back to playing our games
Yeah I'm having a similar problem too, when getting the car battery from the car, and after lee and Molly have jumped the roof, the cutscenes where lee jumps back into the school and Molly goes elsewhere, isn't showing and this is leading to the game being unable to progress.
My apologies, please try rewinding to the chapter/checkpoint where you first reach the town of Crawford, and then replay from there, and you should be able to progress through the episode successfully.
Hello, I have tried rewinding the chapter and it is still doing the same thing after I have recovered the car battery and jumped the roof it is missing the cut scene and Lee is spawning outside the classroom Clem and Ben are in, and not under the hole in the roof of the corridor. Thanks for your help.
Please also try rewinding to the beginning of the episode, and play through that section again, and you should not experience the same issue.
Please tell me you guys are working on a patch. Because it's the only way I'm going to be able to finish this game.
1) The first time I was unable to re-enter the nurses station after collecting the tapes.
2) I rewound back to before entering Crawford. After collecting the car battery, Molly's scene where she leaves with the battery does not occur and I am unable to continue.
3) I rewound back to before entering Crawford again. Same as last time.
4) So I rewind all the way back to the very beginning of the episode. Same issue after the car battery.
Can you please clarify if you have tried watching a video walkthrough of how another player completed that particular part, to make sure that you are doing all of the steps to complete it successfully?
i know what needs to be done as the first time it went further before it got stuck, but just in case I watched some videos and read some walkthroughs and I'm doing everything I need to but the next scene just won't trigger.
Can you please clarify if you are playing through the episode at a quick/fast pace, or a slow pace, investigating everything in the environment? We have had a few reports of players that when they play through the Episode quickly, that they run into the issue, but when they play through the Episode at a normal to slow pace, that the next scene triggers successfully.
The first time I was playing slow and clicking on everything I could click on. That was when it wouldn't let me re-enter the nurses station. The times I rewound, I played as fast as I could.

I just tried again, this time telling Clem to stay behind at the house while we go to Crawford since I always brought her with me in all my other attempts. The outcome was the same though. Still can't get the scene with Molly leaving with the backpack to occur and I'm unable to progress.
I've just rewinded just at the first time you enter at the Nurse's Place and it worked... but c'mon patch all this
I also had this problem and was very frustrated. After wasting over an hour thinking I did something wrong, I realized it is a legit glitch. I usually play an episode right through but I stopped this one right before going back into the ally to get the second tape, and locker combo from zombie. This some how saved my game in the glitch. When I came back to play for my save point thats when I couldn't open the door after collecting the tapes. Once I found out this was in fact the glitch, all I had to do was REWIND to the last scene (which is the first time you enter the nurses office after killing the pack of zombies) play right through and you will indeed have the option to open the door again after collecting the 2 tapes.
Yet another person with the exact same issue. I am in the Chapter 6 of episode 4 (For Whom The Bell Tolls). I was inside the school, checked on absolute everything and everyone inside of the classroom/command room. Then, while outside, Ben and Molly are hanging around the bathrooms as if they were ghosts, and Kevin and Whatserface are outside of the glass doors. Vernon and Christa are outside the Nurse's room, but I can interact with them and they don't need my help.
I go about my business to get the battery with Molly (she never spoke to me about which way to go to the fire escape, which walkthroughs have shown). I got the battery, and after jumping to the rooftop, the scene where Molly runs off so she could take her of her own stuff was never triggered. Instead, Lee was just standing outside the classroom/command center.
I told Clementine to stick with me earlier in the house. Ben is not really happy with me (since I've made him aware he is becoming a bit of a liability, and has to earn his trust). Can't really remember what other conversations have led me here.
Some people here are saying they have found solutions to this by rewinding to the time you first enter the nurse's place, but the thing is I can't get to that area! Nor to the two tapes part. This bug is happening well before it, according to the game walkthroughs I'm watching.
Please, fix this. I've noticed it's been several months already since the first time someone requested some help.
I had this same exact glitch after the battery and got it show the cut scene by rewinding and letting Lee fall and die when jumping off the roof instead of grabbing Molly's hand, then after it re-genned me to make the jump again I grabbed her hand and it played the cut scene. This was my 4th rewind so not sure if letting Lee die first was the difference maker, but it was the only thing I did different. Hope this helps!
