If you could save one character, who would it be?
Throughout Season 1 and 2, many great characters, whether they were good or bad, have been killed off. If you could bring any character back, who would you choose?
Personally I'd probably choose Luke. I know, I know, Lee was a great guy and all that. But though I'm obviously not glad that he's dead, I was satisfied by how his story ended- he'd managed to protect Clementine, taught her what she needed to survive. His job was done.
But Luke's death is the polar opposite of Lee's death- Luke's demise is sudden, badly done and is a complete disservice to one of Season 2's best characters. I'd want to bring him back because his character had a lot more potential, and at least when he did inevitably die he could have a better sending off than he did in Season 2.
As I said, I really liked Lee (for obvious reasons) but his end was a deserving one, and I was left content. Luke's death had me frustrated and confused as to why they killed him off like they did- I would want him back so his character could be used to its full potential and he could have a better, more deserving death.
I was actually tempted to say Omid as well- he was a funny guy and one of my favourite characters- I grew to like him quite quickly, and his death was horrendous (it wasn't bad, it was just such a shock). However, I didn't say him because I couldn't imagine him going on without Christa. It would make him a different person, I'd lose the character I grew to like.

Nick- A close second on my favorite video game character list, I'd also like to forget about that episode 4 death (it still sucks).
If I were to save someone who's still alive/determinant if they'd ever die I'd say Arvo.

In season 1, probably Ben. I agree with what you say about Lee, I miss him but his death scene was emotional and well written so I'm not as disappointed with him but I wish Ben could have stuck around more.
In season 2, first Sarah, and then Nick and Luke are a close second. Those three had the most unsatisfying deaths.
Season one for me would be Chuck. I really liked his character.
Season two would be Luke, other than the fact he's my favourite character he had a stupid death. As if it was a last minute decision from telltale.

Lee - Don't give a damn how good his death was. At first I thought a coming of age story for Clem would be good, but after season 2 I think I would've preferred an ongoing Joel/Ellie type story from these two. TWD game did it better than TLOU. (just my opinion)
Nick - My personal favorite from season 2
Duck - If only because Clementine needs another competent child survivor to play off of, I kind of got it in my head cannon that Duck would've been a beast had someone taken the time to teach him what he needed to know. If nothing else, the detective scene proved he wasn't a complete idiot, just immature.

I agree with what you said. I'm on the same page pretty much. Lee was one of my favorite characters alongside Clem in Season 1, yet the way they handled his death never left me bitter or frustrated over how bad it was, because it wasn't a bad death. I think the great thing on Lee's death you felt like this was a guy saying goodbye to his daughter and trying to say the right things to help her on her way and whichever ending you picked if to shoot or leave Lee, it was heartbreaking. I didn't get over that for over a week or so, I was in a state of 'wow, that was damn sad, but so damn good.'
