Thing is, though those things are unrealistic they weren't that apparant because everyone was too absorbed in the story to really comment on it till after. Yes, its ridiculous, but so what? As long as it isn't noticable.
Thats why episode 4 got a bit of a beating from fans- because it lacked a real main plot, people noticed some of the flaws (most notably clem kicking down a door somehow). As long as the story is good, they can get away with a few bits of unrealism.
I got to agree with you. There are probably more unrealistic feats she's accomplished in game than realistic. Like fighting off a fully gro… morewn man (Winston/bandit) who's most likely double her size and triple her strength from kidnapping or raping her or whatever he was trying to do to her. and Kicking down doors with her inner Bigby Wolf strength. Suturing her arm when she wasn't even taught how to start and maintain a fire from Christa and etc...
Clementine is or was a great and beloved character but I'd be open to playing with a new protagonist or replaying as Clementine again. Either way I'd be o.k. with Telltale's decision. But even if they don't make Clem the player character again, they should still give her some kind of role next time....a cameo appearance at the very least.
I'm the OP and for the record I shot kenny (not because I hated him but because he snapped and it had to be done) and got to Howes with Jane and the baby. I also let the new people inside.
For everyone automatically assuming the OP choose Wellingon and is one of those, 'Kenny fanatics', consider this.
Anyway you look at it, … moreany of the endings could be safe in a sense or she could still be screwed.
If she is in Wellington, then good for Clem she found a 'safe haven'. However, we don't know if this place is really safe.
If she is at Howes with Jane, yay she has someone who will teach her how to survive. But the 'family' could pose a threat no matter what you do.
If Clem is alone, thank God because both of those worthless assfucks are gone or dead. Jane could be dead, Kenny could be dead, or whatever. At least Clem can live her life without those assfucks holding her back. Or, it could feel incomplete because it might seem Clem is still searching for something.
Yes, Wellington is the only good ending.
God damn these forums are still so fucking toxic.
Having said all that, I agree with you OP. I won't be playin… [view original content]
Exactly. Everyone assumed you were a 'Kenny fanatic' and went off on doing the stupid Kenny hater BS. I can see how any of the endings would end in a good or bad way for Clem, I just get pissed that people here still take any chance they can get to rip on Kenny and his fans and his endings.

What the OP stated. Look on page three.
Clementine could continue (though please can we stop playing as a child) by having her go back to deutagroginist however she needs a good stable group of supporting characters, not a group per season it just gets dull after a while, she needs a few to last through. the ep 5 group were perfect candidates but no every one had to die or leave.
Maybe disengaging from Clementine's story for a while to concentrate on the adventures of another character related to Clem (Christa?) would be cool, but abandoning Clem altogether would be a colossal mistake.
I could see her being put in as a side character like Kenny was in S2, that is what i would really want ultimately, with a fresh new protagonist. Personally i believe if they follow the same formula, the story dynamics never change, it becomes repetitive and boring like in S2.
Come on guys, who didn't see luke dying in that ice trap. LETS JUST WALK ACROSS THE ICE, I 'm Sure nothing will happen!
Now that the large cast of characters DIES OFF once again, it becomes cliche at this point.
I hope they don't repeat the same story. If you want to have Clementine meet up with another group, that is fine....
JUST DONT KILL THEM ALL OFF BEFORE WE KNOW THEIR NAMES.
The realities where kids are forced to into labour at a very young age, where kids are left to take care of themselves and their own familie… mores without any aid or supervision, the realities were kids are constantly put in danger etc. Clementine may live in an apocalypse but that doesn't mean people haven't gone through worse than her before the apocalypse.
Wasn't their something a while back about a picture of Christa in season 3 being leaked? That might be fake or something, but I remember seeing something like that.
Christa had been mentioned by some folks as a potential candidate. She was with Clementine for a long time and her status is more uknown tha… moren dead. Especially if Kenny can get real lucky as he did. I'm sure Christa must of experienced the same luck. And on the bright side at least we would know what happened to her and maybe what happened in those 16 months. Also we wouldn't have the same limitations as Clem had.. playing as a fully grown woman than a child. But this is if they do not plan on using the same protagonist twice. Which kind of sounds like a interesting idea. At least we would get to explore more characters to play.
Since Clementine cannot age beyond the comic book. She would pretty much still be the same age by the time season 3 is released. and playing Clem again would be more of the same actually just with a different setting and other new characters to interact with. I'm not against Clementine being protagonist again and I'… [view original content]
True. A whole group dying each Season would get too repetitive. Then again, it's a fine balance between killing people off too quickly and having people last too long.

Clementine should be the main character, no question. Her story is far more interesting then any other possible character, and besides she is a huge selling point for Telltale.
I do agree though, killing off huge groups season after season would be a dumb idea. Luke should've survived Season 2 no matter which character you went with for a start, and though I hate her having Sarah live past episode 5 might open up some interesting possibilities.

I haven't heard or seen anything like that. At this point its still too early to tell for sure about anything. That picture could of been fan made or something along those lines. I wouldn't mind her being in season 3 since I was expecting her to return at some point throughout all of season 2 especially once I made it to Wellington. But I guess not.. maybe if you chose to enter the Wellington gates Christa awaits you and A.J within the community. Even though I chose to leave with Kenny originally so maybe not for me (damn). Wellington sounds good but looks can be deceiving as we learned from the St.John dairy.lol

Again, I agree the time for Clem is done.

Well then he's just daft: we don't know that Wellington is safe, but we do know that Howe's needs a lot of work to become safe.

So true.
I think any ending could be considered safe, probably the safest place would be Howes. But I can also see where any place/ending would be not safe.
So please don't put me under the 'rabid Kenny fanatics' because I don't think that Wellington is the haven of all havens.
Well said Ken Kesey, well said. Have my like
