i'm Going To Tell A Story
SO onChristmas Eve I was at EB games doing some christmas shopping for myself because my dad didn't know what to get me, so he gave me a couple hundred dollars and said go buy what you want meet back her in an hour, So the first place I went was EB games because you know what us gamers are like, I went in there looking for a keyboard (Razer Blackwiddow). When I walked in there were three people there one person behind the desk, and two men stranding in front of The Walking Dead Game Season 2 game case having a little discussion about what they did/didn't like about season 2, one of them was a customer and one worked at EB games... The keyboard I was looking for was basically right beside the game so I could hear what they were talking about and the man had some pretty decent points like Lukes death, things like that, Ya know friendly banter... What he said next i did not agree with so much though..
He said "Man Clementine is such a whiny bitch and I hated having her as the protagonist in season 2, I went back to Season 1 to play as Lee and i found out how much of a cunt he was aswell.." That set something off in my head, that pulled a lever saying "well ya fucked now." I turned to him threw the keyboard box at the side of his arm (I would have thrown it at his face but i didn't have the right angle) he turns at me and says "What the fuck bro?" I look at him and say " Don't call me bro." I ended up having an enormous rage right in front of the two people who worked there and right bam in the centre of the mall and Im going off "Don't you ever fucking say Clementine is a bitch let alone a WHINY BITCH and if you ever fucking call Lee a cunt again, you will regret it as much as you ever will" I said some pretty harsh things Im not gonna lie, majority of it I didn't mean it was out of anger because some random just called my two favorite characters ever in a game bad names.. I got thrown out of the store and didn't get to buy the keyboard..
So later on about 20 minutes later or something close to that, I went back inside EB games to buy the keyboard, the man wasn't there but the two workers were there.. The man that was talking to the stranger walks up to me, Personally i thought he was gonna tell me to get the fuck out of the store.. but he didn't he put out his hand and went shake my hand I shook it because Im a kind and polite guy excluding the 20 minutes previous. He says to me "i can't believe someone your age (Im 14) stood up to a man about double your age and had the courage to curse into his face throw a box at his arm and not even back down." My response was "Well The Walking Dead has been a huge part in my life, not only putting me through Depression but actually turning me into a better person aswell and when someone shit talks my two favorite characters in it then I get a little mad."
In the end i got the keyboard and we had a good laugh about it. End of the day I got mad and stood up for Clementine and Lee without them knowing, your welcome

No I wouldnt kill someone over a video game.. The only reason I went ape shit is because The Walking Dead has taken a big part in my life and has changed me, it doesn't make me a better person I shared it on the thread because looking back on it now I find it pretty funny that i went ape shit over Clementine and Lee.. i just want to make that clear, i don't think I can take on anyone in the world because I can't and I know that, i know that I wouldn't become a better person for shouting at someone over The Walking Dead..
By me phrasing "turning me into a better person" is because it did, i was a complete cunt before I started playing The Walking Dead and now I consider myself a pretty decently nice guy.

I was actually saying people might role their eyes at you for that sort of behaviour screaming in the middle of a shopping centre and shouting abuse at someone who didnt even say anything directly to you is immature and bratty honestly. So they have a different opinion about a game that they were not even sharing with you, thats all.

When I met "TWD", this game made me change.
She showed me that I don't need to afraid to make difficult decisions and choices, don't fear to speak and express their views at the right time, to learn to survive and defend, showed me that I can be a good father, and opened in me qualities I before a did not notice and seems to hide.
Showed who I am in this world. I became very wise because of this game.
She reminded me that humanity - one of the most important things in the world and that it needs to keep the the end of life.
Most importantly, thanks to her, I met Lee and Clementine, and other characters.
You will not believe how much I love them. Especially Clementine. It is for me - part of my family, really means a lot and will always remain in my heart until the end of life

That was very deep and amazing Im glad someone sees it at the same side as I do.
Personally I do think I did sewmi the right thing, maybe i could have toned it down with the volume and maybe not thrown the box at him but other than that I did pretty good right?? Not trying to sound like I have a stick up my ass or anything but, honestly i thought i did the semi right thing..
Knowing that someone elses life changed because of TWD makes me so happy not only because thats what happened to me but because, only people that have had bad/miserable experiences can have that sort of change suddenly in life and for the simple reason of It's a video game that has the power to change peoples lives in that sort of sense, Im glad that it has affected you in that way and I hope for the best
