Nate should be a ANTAGONIST in season 3!

Well he could be a protagonist now he did kill those old people in 400 days basically proving that he is crazy. We havent been told what happened to Nate in 400 days!

  • i think kenny or clem would be best decision telltale to make.

  • I have a feeling he won't be returning, even if he did return his transition into the story would most likely be done poorly since we are seemingly pretty far away from where we last saw him and the backstory for how he would meet up with our protagonist for season three would most likely be vague. I think it would just be easier to start over with a brand new character(s) for our antagonist(s).

  • I'd like him to return but not as an antagonist. I don't think he's that bad. I'm glad he killed that old racist fuck who shot at him first.

  • I don't want to get into a debate about Kenny here, but I find it odd that you want racist people to die. I'll leave it at that.

  • Kenny was only racist to Arvo and that's alright because Arvo is a piece of shit.

Racism is alright because it's always deserved and correct. And yeah, somehow being angry at bandits trumps BEING A BANDIT.

  • Wrong! Nate should be the HERO, because he's so hilarious and wouldn't it be omgawesome if we get to see his badass misadventures of murder and mayhem with a little girl?

  • And Lee.

Racism is never alright. If you think someone's a bad person and want to insult them, insult them for things that actually make them a bad person, not their race.

Kenny was only racist to Arvo and that's alright because Arvo is a piece of shit.

  • Sarcasm right?

    I hope, at least..

  • Antagonist? Fuck no. Ally? Most definitely. I find evil friends are far more interesting than antagonists and have more character development.

  • I kid.

I'm always a little weirded out by Nate's fans seeming to genuinely like his personality rather than simply finding him fascinating. Then again, fans of villains always occupy that weird space of ambiguity.

  • I don't count Lee because it wasn't serious and he appolagized for it plus he's from Florida.

Being from a racist place does absolutely not excuse racism.

    Passive racism is still racism.

    Kenny is racist.

    ...are you serious?

Racism is discrimination and PREJUDICE based on race.

Stereotypes are like a definition of prejudice.

  • Sorry, how does being close with people of different raicsts mean you have no racist prejudices?

That's equivalent to saying 'I don't think gay people should have equal rights. Hey, no, I'm not homophobic, I have a gay friend!!!'

His unpredictable nature would make for a much more fun antagonist than protagonist in my opinion.

  • I never saw Kenny as "racist" the only thing he says to Lee that you can take offence of is him saying that Lee was Urban, and then Kenny follows up saying that He's sorry and that crazy shit just comes out of his mouth, then like DisruptivePilot said, he had a wife from Belgium and a girlfriend from India. Kenny also says how he misses Lee and how Lee was his friend. Yes, Kenny is "racist" to Arvo which was really just to emphasis that Kenny was becoming more and more broken by being aggressive, and I also have no sympathy for Arvo for what he does

  • Yeah but the whole antagonist theme seems over played at this point. It would be more fun if he was like Kenny and we can choose whether to side with him or not.

  • The fact that you commented that statement alone literally proves you wanted to start a debate though

  • Nate is not an Antagonist

he did kill those old people in 400 days basically proving that he is crazy.

I personally believe he had a over reaction, because of what happened in his past in the Wyatt/Eddie Situation. Someone shot his friend in the head, so i would think he might have issue with people shooting at him.

He is as much as an antagonist as Kenny, Jane, Clementine, Lee

  • Yeah. People who have had traumatizing experiences tend to over react at things, like if someone was attacked by a dog, and is frightened by dogs since that.

  • I don't understand why people think nate is Hitler.

He killed two people that we know, one was going to die anyways, the other was questionable.

How many people did Kenny, Jane, Clementine , Lee kill?

Yeah. People who have had traumatizing experiences tend to over react at things, like if someone was attacked by a dog, and is frightened by dogs since that.

  • I agree completely he gets way too much shit from people who don't understand his character. Any supplies they had would be better in his pocket than some people who were already dead. If you ask me he did the right thing. A quick bullet is quicker and less painless than bleeding out.

Checkmate. Another thing, we didn't really see things from his POV, we saw how two hipster junkies and an up tight college boy perceived him. There are always two sides of the story.

If Nate was an antagonist for season 3, I would freak the hell out, because I would be both excited and scared for what he might do, but mostly just excited to see him again XD But even what CrazyGeorge says that if he wasn't an antagonist, I still think Nate would be an extremely interesting character and would bring a lot to the game. They could do so much with him, and the dark humor on him, ierowiheowiheihwggu! I'd LOVE IT!
