Lilly or Jane?

Almost all character arguments I see nowadays are Kenny vs. Jane, Kenny vs. Carver, Kenny vs. Whatever. However, I have yet to see a debate between Lilly and Jane, the 'rivals' of Kenny.

Here's mine side: Lilly, so here's her story.

We first meet Lilly in A New Day in the drug store, supporting her father, the ever angry Larry. She tries to calm him down, but he gets a heart problem and Lee must get pills for him. She is seen to be by her father's side monitoring his condition. She is relieved once you get the key and get the pills.

In Starved For Help, she is shown to be guarding the motor inn with her rifle on the RV. She and Kenny get in an argument, and she is upset at the sight of Ben, and Travis or Mr. Parker. She then gives Lee the ration to distribute among the group, and is happy if Larry is given food. When she and the rest of the group arrive at the St. John's Dairy and convene together along with Lee, Kenny, and Larry discussing the safety of the farm. In the meat locker, you are given the option of trying to save Larry or kill him. If you save him, Lilly helps you with taking about Danny and Andy St. John, and protecting Clementine. If you kill him, she doesn't help you with Andy, but still protects Clementine. She also takes the suppiles from the car at the end of the episode.

In Long Road Ahead, she is no longer on the RV, as Ben is. You come to her room and give her the supplies from earlier in the episode. She is shown to be cataloging the missing supplies. She is very upset with the possibilities of a thief, and is very distrusting. However, before any further action can be taken, the Save-Lots Bandits arrive and take the group hostage. As Lee distracts the bandits, she takes up her rifle and shoots them. Kenny and the rest of the group almost take off without her. She luckily gets on the RV as it drives away. When the RV must stop, Lilly takes the time to start making an accusation at Ben for stealing the suppiles. If Carley is alive, she will defend Ben and make Lilly angry, and Lilly will shoot Carley. If Doug is alive, Lilly tries to shoot Ben and accidentally kills Doug. You are then given a choice: leave Lilly or keep her up in the RV. If you kept her in the RV, she will offer to take you and Clementine, but even if you agree she steals the RV.

And that's her side. I like Lilly more than Jane, but I still dislike them both. What about you guys?

Lily. While her attitude annoyed me and I hate how she takes off with the RV no matter what, I understood her concerns and felt sorry for her. Jane, on the other hand...

  • Yeah, I like Lilly better too.

Lily as a character she seemed far more fleshed out than some unlikable bitch. I would have to say the same as a person too she was a decent but strict person before the loss of her father and even at her mental breakdown wasn't exactly a sociopath. So many people on here call the grieving process bat shit insanity. Idiots

Easily Jane for me... and that's saying something.

  • I dont like either but if I had to choose, Id choose Lilly

  • This is difficult since I hated both of them with a mighty passion. But I have to go with Lilly on this one.

  • Oh God, those are probably my top 2 favorite characters. I can't believe you're doing this to me. Can I just cheat and say both? :x

  • I love Kenny to bits and I know that semi has something to do with this post and semi doesn't have anything to do with it..

But I'm going with Jane here, a lot of people don't like Kenny and Jane at the same time therefore making the climax at the end of episode 5 of season 2 really easy but for me it was hard because I had to choose between the two chracters that I liked very much but I liked Kenny more, now that's a whole different discussion but my reasoning for going with Jane here is because.

    1. she was looking out for Clementine, although she lied to Clementine and tries to get Kenny killed in the process she was trying to look out for Clementine because she knew what Kenny was capable of, knew that he could flip at Clementine at any given time and Clem wouldn't be able to defend against Kenny so she took the risk herself and tried to get rid of him/ Let Clem see what hes really like when
    2. I didn't like Lilly for the sole reason of, she was just straight up a bitch.. I helped Kenny the first time in the meat locker because he's my man, but I went back and replayed that sequence and she just acts the same way to you, maybe some dialogue gets better if you help her but she treats you the same, she brings Clementine into a situation of 'what if Clem gets sick and we don't have the medicine?' To try and get Lee to poke around with the drug thing happening, then if he disagrees he will just assume it's him, the only mentally stable person in the group with a stable mind and a little 8 year old girl to protect with his life.. and she thinks it's him if he doesn't wanna poke around.. Also she kills Carley so fuck her.

    Have a great day :)

  • Lily > Jane.

  • I hate both, but I hate Lilly slightly less... so I'm going with Lilly.

  • I really liked Lilly, she's pretty awesome.

  • I really liked Lilly, apart from killing Carley of course. But even after, I decided to keep her with us and I don't hate her for stealing the RV. As for Jane, I never liked Jane

I fucking ship them both so none of the above

  • Lily and Jane are definitely my favourite characters besides Lee and Clem. The interactions with them were always interesting and thought-provoking. Lee and Clem were ready to leave with either of them at episodes 3 of both seasons.
Out of all characters throughout both seasons, those 2 are best fitted to form and maintain a community.

  • This was too easy I'd even pick Molly over Jane tbh

  • yeah, basically this

I hate both, but I hate Lilly slightly less... so I'm going with Lilly.
