Colin

was anyone else kinda bummed that Colin wasn't involved somehow? He came across as shiesty to me and I expected him to be involved somehow

  • Nah, I felt like he was just a small part

  • Eh, I kind of like him as a side character. He kind of strikes me as more of the comic relief type character who appears every once in awhile to lighten up the mood, and in this case that's typically during scenes in Bigby's apartment. He's entertaining to see casually, but I don't know if he has quite enough personality to be a main character.

I mean sure, he's likeable, but so far I haven't seen much depth to him beyond still being a little miffed that Bigby blew his house down, but still forgiving enough to be his friend while privately justifying that as the grounds to mooch off of him and stay in his apartment. That's an interesting take on one of the three little pigs, but I wouldn't exactly classify him as a character with many layers. Then again, maybe the comics address that. My deluxe edition is due to arrive tomorrow, and I'm stoked.

  • there isn't really much he could have done since he was supposed to be on the farm even in the comics he hardly does anything

  • He's pretty limited in the Fables comic as well...

He makes only two appearances in the first Volume and the second Volume...... just read it and find out ;/

  • Colin for life! That was my home b... er, pig.

We ride together, we die together!

  • Actually he becomes pretty important in the comic.

  • But it's not really Colin though...
