I can't believe...

That Lee alone had more dialogue and lines than everyone in Season 2. Just wow seems so effortless even Clementine only had a small 20 minutes worth. Wow just wow.

I'd like to thank dojo can't remember his full username. Tag him in this please

  • Half-assed Season

  • Well it makes sense that Lee would have more lines than everyone else, I mean he would comment on nearly everything he looked at.

  • Its true I'm afraid :/

  • Clementine actually had more than an hour's worth of dialog in season 2 by the way (give or take a few minutes for unused or missing dialog).

  • Lee had 5hrs worth of dialogue, while Clem had around 1hrs worth.

Wow, she only has around 20% of what Lee had for dialogue that's pretty sad.

  • Makes sense when you think about it. There was a lot less walking around talking to everyone in the group than in Season 1.

  • Yep and that's why Season 2 was inferior

  • It was a contributing factor, but I don't think it was the main reason. I don't think it needed as much of that as season 2, but it could have used a little more of it. The scene in season 2 episode 5 where they are all sitting around the campfire was one of my favorites.

What really did them in was not having a relationship as strong as Clem and Lee in Season 2. They didn't make you feel much for any of the characters.

Season 2 was definitely up against the odds. Season 1 was just a tough act to follow, it was a true masterpiece IMO. I still thoroughly enjoyed Season 2, but it wasn't as good as Season 1.

I don't think every other character across both seasons combined even reaches the amount of raw dialogue Lee has, let alone from a single season

Seriously, he has a metric fuck-ton of lines

Bigby in TWAU has ~4 hours worth of dialogue, compared to Lee's 5 hours, and Clementine's hour and a half

Puts it in perspective just how little Clementine actually got

  • And how little they tried...

  • Lee was the main character, he was the leader of the group, he had more say in things as he was the leader/was more respected by everybody and he had Clementine to look after so if he wasn't talking to anyone he could always ask Clementine if she needed something orif they wanted to talk or something. I can understand that..

Clem was the main character yes, was she respected by a lot of people/everyone in the group ehhh semi, was she the leader of the group? No she wasn't and that's why she didn't have as much to say as Lee and people don't consider that in the start Clem was what maybe 10 and by the end of episode 5 she is 11, however in season 1 Lee is 37 from episode 1 and in the end he was 37 as well, this doesn't account to much but it is saying that Clementine is a little girl and a lot of people overlook that because she is bad ass.. I remember seeing this thread by marioluigi and it made me think a lot more of TWD and that thread is basically what made me so passionate about The Walking Dead.. I don't think it is still up because he got banned for some unknown reason but the title was something a long the lines of "Why Season 3 Should Be About Redemption" and he was basically stating in there that, in the start of season 1 Lee was a convicted killer and was on his way to prison, but Clementine was his redemption, it was his second chance at doing something right and with Lee looking after Clementine it made him redeemed, i guess and that's why he got killed off in episode 5. Because he had done his goal, his purpose and that was to protect Clementine until she found another stable family, which I'm guessing is Omid and Christa, grrrr. anyways in the post he said, everyone refers to Clem as a little badass now and as much as she is with her amazing stunts and cool as QTE's that scare everyone half to death, she is a little girl and everyone overlooks that..

I respect Marioluigi so much and I still wonder why he got banned on here, i don't know but yeah... that's why Clementine/ any other character in season 2 didn't have more lines than Lee. Rant over I guess, Have a nice day :)
