Honestly, I think we'll see her again in Season 3. Think about it. They want the game to continue and be fairly long, yet they kill off some characters while introducing new ones. But, they listen and bring back those you love or hate. For example, Kenny. A lot of people thought he might be gone and the only reason a lot of people didn't was because he was a huge character. Telltale is probably just waiting for the right moment to re-introduce Christa. If you think about it, characters that have left Clem and Lee from Season 1 or so probably come back later when the story/plot calls for it.
I find it a little depressing that Christa's dedication to care for Clementine for a good two years, with the majority of it on her own and … morewithout her child, when she could have easily done the pragmatic thing and abandon her...and she barely gets any recognition for her efforts.
And then she gets written out of the story, never to be heard of again. Telltale doesn't seem to want anything to do with her regardless of what she could bring to the story.
Such wasted potential.
For whatever reason (perhaps planning ahead), Telltale deliberately made Kenny's death scene a tad bit more ambiguous (by having him not scream in anguish despite the obvious sounds of flesh being eaten) than their original plan. The fans had no input on this, it was entirely the developers' decision to plan for his return.
TBH I wish Kenny was torn apart into a screaming mess back in Season 1, just so that all doubt could have been removed as to his survival. After all, he was fucking suicidal when he died anyway - retconning that removes the power of his death scene.

This youtuber, you might have heard of him "iijeriichoii" played TWD and called Clem a whiny bitch in season 1 and didn't play season 2 because of it, thus explaining Toms username.
I posted this forum out on twitter and said my username and he came on here from twitter and found the post and then yeah, said that.. hence the 'hostility' it's all in fun and games me and him are still mates we talk like that to each other everyday, I realised that you guys don't hear us say that obviously so i better clear it up before i get banned. Yeah, once Kenny showed up I didn't think about Christa until you get to ask about if she's in Wellington; I accepted that we may not find out what happened to her.
I thought Christa was decent, never really had a massive attachment to her, the way when Omid dies she looks at the gun and then Clem that g… moreives away that at the back of her head she secretly blames clem, also i stopped thinking she even existed when Kenny showed up.
