1.Vince---- I'd give him an 8 on my trust scale. He did murder someone to protect his brother and I think he'd do the same for Clem and Aj

2.Lilly----I'd give her an 6 on the trust scale; she's a capable survivor and always looked out for the best interest of the group, but she shoots Carley out of dislike and paranoia, but I don't know how she'd feel about having a helpless baby to look out for

3.Molly----I'd give her a 7 on the Scale of Trust. Jane was a knock off Molly and while in Around Every Corner Molly seems like the mercenary kind and tells Lee "I'm not her keeper"...I think that if it were just her Clem and Aj, she'd do a good job of protecting them, especially since Clem is somewhat capable of protecting herself

4.Shel----I'd give her a 6. She cared for Becca lot, but she did want to shield her from the horrors of the new realities of life, which could get both of them killed

5.Larry----I'd give him a 4. Larry was a somewhat capable survivor and very strong; he also cared about Clementine's well being and probably would Aj's...however, that heart condition...the world is nothing but stress laden now....and Larry can't handle a lot of stress

6.Tavia--- I'd give her a 5. In Epilogue she seem pretty confident and unafraid of the walkers trolling nearby, but very little is known about her survival skills as a nomad

7.Vernon---- I'd have to give him a 4. While he had a daughter of his own once, he wanted to shield Clem from the life's harsh realities which would result in her death like his daughter... "she'll die a little girl if you treat her like one"-Chuck

8.Nate---- I'd have to give him a 2 on my Scale of Trust. While he seems a very capable survivor and loyal to his traveling companion(s)...I wouldn't put it past Nate to rape Clem on a regular basis (and ditch Aj b/c he's a liability)...he says that there ain't nothing that makes men 'men" in the world now besides women....so I think Nate would probably rape her

    1. Vinc
    2. Molly
    3. Lilly
    4. Shel
    5. Larry
    6. Vernon
    7. Tavia
    8. Nate
    1. Would give him a probation period.
    2. Would follow her into a burning building
    3. Another probation period, followed up with a; "Why the fuck did you shoot Carley" interview.
    4. (see answer 2)
    5. Fuck him.
    6. Fuck him.
    7. [RUN]
    8. Fuck her. 400 days Tavia, sure i'd give her a shot. But S2 Tavia, fuck her.
  • Well, after I saw what Nate did to that old couple in 400 days. I don't think I could trust him to look after Clementine and AJ.

Nate ( Deep down insecure and trying to make friends) what

    1. I think Vince would be fine, although he does seem like the survivalist type who wouldn't pay much attention to her. Vince would be the kind of guy who would be bad at normal conversation. At least the way I played him... Strong, silent type...
    2. I like Shel the most out of these. She cares deeply for Becca, and would do anything to protect her. And I have a feeling, if Clem became her responsibility, she would show the same compassion for her.
    3. Given time, after she'd gotten over the loss of her father, I think she'd do okay. I don't like that she shot Carley/Doug, but that was only because she had kind of been going off the deep end over her father's loss, and everyone was antagonizing her in that moment when all she was trying to do was get her anger out. Maybe if someone had shown that they could understand where she was coming from, she would have calmed down, but she was just getting worked up. When Carley just said "You're just a scared little girl. Get the fuck over it." That put her over the edge. Any person who was put in that situation, who is on the sensitive side, personality wise, would have at least considered doing the same. I think after a probation period, giving her time to get over her father's death, I would trust her with Clem, since she has no one else to freak out over.
    4. Well, with Molly, I think I'd trust her in certain situations. I feel like, if Clem were in a situation with a walker herd and only Lee and Molly were there, no matter how good a father Lee is, I would have Clem go to Molly in that situation considering she has a better chance to get out of it if she does, taking that Molly's a badass and all. But in the long run? Absolutely not. Molly may have the basics of making sure she doesn't get eaten by walkers or starve down, but that's where it stops. I think she proved she has no commitment when she left the group like she did. She would ditch Clem if that was what made the most sense in the moment.
    5. Okay, maaaaaaybe Vernon. He just seems untrustworthy after having stolen the boat, but we never really saw what went down with them. For all we know, he could have opposed that movement a lot. If that happened, then I would say sure, because he seemed to know what he was doing when he said he had a child. It's honestly purely speculation with him, he could be the greatest caretaker in the world or an outright asshole, but we have no way of knowing.
    6. With Larry, I'd say sure. Go for it. While he does seem volatile at times, he does show that he does what he does out of caring for his loved ones. He does tell Lee in episode 1 that "if anything happens to my daughter or that little girl you got with you, you watch your ass." Since he mentioned Clem in that, I'd assume he would not be as much of an ass to Clem as he was to everyone else. I think he'd be a fine caretaker. My only real complaint is that he may not last long, because if you got anyone in your group that's in a situation like Lilly was, he's going to be the one who gets shot.
    7. I love Nate as a character, but, trusting him with Clem? Hell. Freaking. No. He is the most unpredictable guy we've met this season. Maybe Kenny was reckless and everything, but at least he had reasons for everything he did. Every time Nate did something, I was always like "What the hell did you do that for? That literally gives you no physical gain." Examples: Shooting the old couple. Letting the walker in his car window. He did seem to care about Russell, but considering Nate's not with the group when we see them 400 Days In... We can assume it didn't work out too well. I don't even know if I would trust Nate to sit in a room with Clem.
    8. I know everyone uses the excuse that Tavia was a bitch in Season 2, but she was just following orders. The entire time we knew her, she was simply following orders. We have literally no idea what kind of a person she is. Like Vernon, she could be the greatest caretaker ever, or she actually could be a huge bitch. There's no real way to tell from what we've seen.

    1. Yeah, Vince didn't seem like a bad guy, and i'd feel the same way of overprotection for my brother, so i could relate with that character.
    2. I never disliked Shel, she was a little boring but other than that.
    3. I loved Lilly. She was one of my favorite characters in S1.
    4. Molly was cool, don't really got much to say about her.
    5. I hated vernon, he stole my boat he ain't getting my kids.
    6. Larry reminds me of my father, angry and mad all the time. I turned out ok right guys? Right?
    7. Nate reminds honestly of myself, i make jokes out of everything, (Think of the joker, able to laugh at anything) its subconscious, its not that i want to make light of tragedy, i just deal with it my own way. I think Nate is the same way. He doesn't know how to communicate with people because he never lets anyone get close to him because its easier to write them off as a joke, then to let them get into his icy heart. I could see nate being a good caretaker, because he might just have to let Clementine in, and how would that affect him. I don't know but doesn't matter how cold you are, kids are so cute its hard be the monster, because they don't see you as the monster, they see you as whoever.
    8. Tavia, does not care.
  • I trust the following:

    Vince, Shel, Lilly and Molly

Larry probably and Vernon (also probably)

The rest I don't bother or trust.

  • I think she proved she has no commitment when she left the group like she did

She left the group like she did because there wasn't enough room on the boat that was found and didn't want to force the group between a rock and a hard place. That was actually pretty selfless considering initially she demanded that she go with them for saving Lee, Kenny and Clem. Only 5 people could fit on the boat... and when it came to ditching them at the docks...she did change her mind and helped to save the three of them

Maybe if someone had shown that they could understand where she was coming from, she would have calmed down, but she was just getting worked up. When Carley just said "You're just a scared little girl. Get the fuck over it." That put her over the edge.

that sounds a lot like you're blaming the victim. Lee, in my game, did everything he could to talk Lilly down and diffuse the situation. Lilly never liked Carley, which she states pretty clearly during the argument. Yes she was still grieving for her father, but she never liked/trusted Carley because Carley stood up to her and didn't like the way she was trying to run things...

It was Vernon's idea to steal the boat; Joyce in 400 Days says how things went wrong when they started trusting outsiders and when Vernon decided to steal the boat. If he didn't physically do it, it was his idea.

I totally agree with you about Nate...he's a chaotic neutral character. No rhyme or reason for what he does...he just does whatever he feels in the moment

I didn't think Tavia seemed like that much of bitch. She seemed to behave like anyone else in her position would. She seemed like she was more in charge of things and yeah, was just following orders

    * I think Vince would be fine, although he does seem like the survivalist type who wouldn't pay much attention to her. Vince would be the ki

  • I suppose I can see what you mean with Molly. I may be wrong in that aspect, but I still don't think she'd be that good of a caretaker for Clem.

And with Lilly, I'm not blaming the victim, it was still a complete terrible overreaction from Lilly, I'm just describing Lilly's thought process, and why her doing that wouldn't completely make her a bad caretaker.

And with Vernon, did Joyce say that? I only remember Boyd talking about him during the conversation about Roberto. When he said "Vernon and the boat were the reason the group fell apart," that was pretty vague. Although now that I think about it, he did steal the boat because he thought it would be best for his group, and Lee's group was not his group. I suppose, if Clem was with Vernon, he would be pretty trustworthy.

it's Joyce who first brings it up. She says that the last time they trusted strangers they lost Brie and Vernon and Boyd retorts that Vernon and the boat is what caused the group to fall apart

Vernon would be very trustworthy with Clem and Aj...no doubt, but he did have a daughter before that didn't survive the initial days of dayZ...and given his age and build...he doesn't seem like the fighting type...that's why I wouldn't trust him with Clem and Aj...i don't think he'd physically be able to take care of them that well when things go sour

and regarding Lilly...I think she'd be one of the best choices to look out for Clem and Aj, except how she handled Larry's death...that makes her more dangerous and less trustworthy. I don't think she was a bad person, just en emotionally unstable person who can't be trusted when everything can have deadly consequences...but on my scale of trust, I did put her at a 7, which I'd say is pretty damn good

I suppose I can see what you mean with Molly. I may be wrong in that aspect, but I still don't think she'd be that good of a caretaker for C
