It Feels Like the First Time: A biased view on sequels

edited February 2015 in The Walking Dead

First a word of caution. This may make many of you mad. But on thier own sequels in general rock! Here's why more often than not ,everyone involed now knows whats needed to improve the property. Think Empire Strikes Back for film and Halo 2 for games. Mainley I'm thinking of trillogies here. I personally love the mid-point of stories. What Sequels do you enjoy? Which ones leave you screaming why? Where does TWD Season 2 rank for you? I've already given my feels on this in another post. Can't wait to see your thoughts.

  • 28 Weeks Later is a sequel that is a good sequel. TWD S2 is still a good game, despite it's flaws.

  • Thx Aerie88 k my turn MIB 2 Great film almost perfect follow up. Ofcourse TWD season 2. I also liked Metal Gear Solid 2. Snake Eater seems to have stolen most of its shine. According to just about everyone. Includeing me but remebering that first play through of MSG2 so fun. Too bad the story could have been written on tumbler.

  • Mass effect 3

    Gears of war 3

    2nd Aliens film

    Terminator 2

  • Don't know what the hell a "veiw" is but non the less. Compared to Season 1 it... yeah sad but on its own it actually has some very good aspects that I enjoyed. I loved A House Divided

  • oh yeah, I really liked MIB 3

28 weeks later is good but there a few WTF moments in the film

The millitery in the film was bad though, Can sombody answer these questions?

The soldiers Left Alice unguarded why?

Why did the millitary turn off all lights after they put put every8ne else in one room, Plus the soldiers did not even have night vision

The soldiers lock everyone in a room with 2 entrances? I dont get this one? Did they just happen to forget there was a 2nd way into the room, which was not guarded and Dom got in and infected/killed alot of people.

But like I said besides the soldiers mistakes, the film is still good.

  • well, she wasn't a threat to them, i suppose. she was quarrantined, and although she was infected, she wasn't violent. You needed an access card to get into her room, which Carlyle had. I'd have to watch the film again, cuz I'm pretty fuzzy on the details

  • I found MIB 3 to be more in tune with the first film. The only thing that i didn't like was at the end they tried to tie the first film to third by saying that Agent J was chosen for MIB b/c of his father, but if you remember the first film, K tells J Zed that J should be chosen b/c he was able to run down a particular type of alien...so there's a continuity problem there

  • Yup not to mention the plot holes. That come from time travel its self. The best minds on earth all agree, you can go forward but not back. I do know its scify but still. Most everthing else is atleast in therory possible. To a degree
