What other threats would you want besides Zombies and other people

So in the zombie apocalypses there is a lot of dangers. Most seem to be the other survivors and the others zombies, but what other threats would you want? Personally I think if TellTale added wolves it would be really interesting. I could imagine something similar to the movie The Grey, that maybe if you left Wellington with Kenny, you would be in the woods or something. Anyway, like the movie with the people trying to survive, maybe there could be some sort of Wolf threat while they are trying to reach a destination.

So what are your ideas for different threats in season 3 besides the dead and the living.

  • Well, lets see. Actual bonafide starvation. Love the show and the games. But none seem willing to "go there". Yes I know, the Eat Your friends option is there. But if TellTale were to include a hunger meter ,that would say change your text tree options based on its level. And when empty leads to a game over. Not likely but. If we are talking new enemy type then Zombie Anything really. Zombie wolves?

  • Mother nature, stuff like storms would be great. The blizzard in Episode 5 was a short but great example of something that would be cool, we get separated from our group and we have to try and find them, but at the same time, it gives a feeling of being helpless and puts us in a situation beyond our control. Weather conditions are tough for survival, it would be great to see more of that.

    • Natural disasters, like earthquakes or maybe volcanic activity.

    • Dangerous animals, like bears, wolves, etc.

  • Global Warming.

  • Surviving natural disasters wouldn't be a bad idea. Or if Clem is in a group, them surviving an illness (similar to the one that breaks out in S4 of the show) and them having to survive that would be cool to see.

  • Diseases, other than the zombie one. Its not really brought up much how other illnesses still exist apart from briefly in the show as mentioned above.

  • Maybe something like...

Like other people have said, weather would be a great threat.

Imagine having to deal with a tornado. Or even worse, imagine having to deal with a tornado that just bowled through a herd of walkers and is now throwing them all over the place.

I'd also like to see more occurrences like the flu storyline in the show. I actually liked how that played out, and I think it'd be a great waste if they didn't find a way to incorporate that flu back into the story at a later point (Alexandria/Hilltop outbreak? Send an infected person to infect the saviors?)

I like the idea of general illness, something we're easily capable of treating right now, running rampant in a world like that. Something that was at one point more or less a non-issue for us ends up turning into a miniature plague.

    Weather, like tornados, storms etc.
Diseases, how has no one in those two years gotten sick? they barely survive i think it'd be easy to catch some disease.

Some nutt crack scientists using the Zombie Apocalyspe as an excuse to De-Extinct a shit load of Pleistiocene era Megafauna to "restore the envioriment equillibirium before the arrival of men", this de-extinction project would obviously include some absolutely cuddly creatures like Saber-tooth cats, dire wolfs, american lions and short-faced bears.

That or dangerous living animals as Kiwi mentioned.

  • Many people before said it already - weather. :) We have seen what a simple blizzard in season 2 episode 5 did. We lost the rest of our group and as Clementine we went to find them and a possible shelter until blizzard is over. We have seen rain and blizzard so far in the game... so maybe extreme temperatures or flood? Second one would be interesting because I don't remember any flood in TV series or comics. Do you?

  • You mean like wolves but dire

Some nutt crack scientists using the Zombie Apocalyspe as an excuse to De-Extinct a shit load of Pleistiocene era Megafauna to "restore the

  • Imagine a tornado at Wellington? That be interesting....

  • Your own stupidity. Choosing the wrong thing to say to someone in a threatening situation or performing an action that is clearly wrong (like grabbing a loss tree branch when climbing a mountain).

  • I LOVE YOUR WOLF IDEA!
    Kudos!
I too would want that, but also the threat of disease, fatal injuries, hypothermia ( due to the cold), etc.

But along with that, I'd like there to be the acknowledgment in the game, from one of the characters, that wolves are not savage-mindless killers, but rather that they're just trying to survive, like any other living creature.
I say that, as there are still many people who have misconceptions about these magnificent animals.

  • hypothermia

Rebbeca died from that though. Or was it exhaustion?
